Singhbuilder's Fertility Log

Personally i would lower my test to 100mg and leave HCG, since your main goal is fertility. Are you having high E2 symptoms? I was able to have success recently getting my wife pregnant, but i was on a much lower HCG dose and have only been on TRT for about 6 years.

This is what I would do as the first step. If E2 sides occur, you could try a micro dose of AI.

I’m going to lower the test to 120mg and keep everything else the same.

Had to take some letro as the sides were getting too much. I’ve been an absolute emotional, paranoid, anxious and schizophrenic wreck. And today my nipples were itchy and sore, something I’ve never had before even on high test without AI.

I dropped the EQ after about 2 weeks. Decided I didn’t want any long esters.

So no real progress so far. Been doing some low dose letro and nolva eod but nips are still itchy.

I did a home sperm test and it came negative so still no production.

I know it’s early days but I can see it starting to impact the Mrs.

Fingers crossed.

Well, research shows you have a really good shot long term! 95% or higher…

Definitely be comfortable with giving it more time. If you started when you first posted, it means you are only 2 months and 10 days into treatment. And if i understand correctly, you have been using higher doses of androgens for a long period of time. The earliest date my doctor told me was 3 months, but i know it can take up to a year before you recover your production. Good luck bro.

Again, if i were you, i would consider lowering my test to 100mg. My doctor recommended taking the lowest amount necessary to keep me feeling well and to also give the HCG a chance to do its work.

Thanks for the replies guys. Yes I’m certainly hanging in there.

I have lowered the test to 105mg (35mg x3) and the masteron to 45mg per week.

Taking letro as needed but I have now started 20mg nolva ED. I’ve read that it helps to keep the testis sensitive to LH.

So stack is:

105mg Test Cyp
45mg Mast prop
2500iu hcg eod
75iu hmg eod
20mg nolva ED

It takes the body over two months to make sperm and store them in the epididymis, that’s not taking into account AAS use. Hang in there, give the boys some time before you worry, you’re barely in the window.

Hanging in there, no pun intended. @dptfit

I’m actually about 4 months into my treatment now.

Feeling better mentally now since the E has come under control.

I’ve been reading about HGH and it’s effects on spermatogenesis. Thinking to add low dose maybe 2iu/d.

Just to encourage you Singhbuilder, 16 yrs ago my wife and I had been trying for Nr 2 for about 3 yrs with no success, having caught on literally the 1st shot with our daughter.
I did a sperm test which was virtually unmeasurable at the time…
No chance you will conceive a second child they said…
But we did, I might only have had 10 viable swimmers but one made it through!
Hang in there Brother and believe

@beez

Thanks man. Wow trying for 3 years, I can’t even begin to think how hard that must have been.

To be honest I can’t imagine waiting that long but I’m really hoping I don’t have to.

Upon further thought, I may taper off and just come off TRT until we have conceived. Although it’s only been 4 months, it’s putting a massive strain on my marriage as she does not understand the process.

I might continue the GH alongside my nolva and hcg/hmg protocol.

Thoughts?

I think you should print this off and have her read it. Read it yourself if you haven’t. It is pretty good at breaking down the expected timeline for fertility.

I have repeatedly explained the process, in depth as I have a medical background. Ultimately though for a woman, what she’s is infertility. I’m not blaming her for not being patient but it’s difficult when you see the disappointment.

If i were you Singh, i would taper your TRT dose to 100mg a week, plus your fertility protocol, nothing else. Give that 6-12 months. If no luck after that, then maybe try coming off TRT completely, and do HCG, clomid, or whatever other fertility protocol you think is necessary.

You probably already know this stuff, but saving up semen for at least 5 days before when she ovulates, and 24 hours before and day of ovulation, go for as many times as possible. Have her testing her urine for LH to determine ovulation. And then, for my wife and I, i literally propped her up on a pillow and let gravity do some of the work. Has worked twice for us now, relatively quickly.

Hey, we did that too! It shouldn’t make any difference but every little trick helps eh :+1:

IMO i think it makes a huge difference! I’m not a fertility doctor or anything, but i think anything that directs the juice to where its suppose to go, instead of out the front door is a good thing!

Graphic, but plenty of times the deed has been done, only to stand up and have some ā€œexitā€ the wrong way, if that makes sense LOL. Increase the chances by using gravity to get the majority of the goods to the egg.

While on TRT? What was your protocol and were you always on hCG?

On TRT for 6 years, only started HCG when i wanted to have second child. Took 5 months of HCG to get my wife pregnant.

Was on 150mg of test for majority of time, then halfway through HCG i switched to 200mg. Was taking 200iu of HCG a day. 1400 total a week. I think you could definitely do it while still taking 100mg of test, with the high dose of HCG you are taking… Just takes time to wake up the boys and get the sperm count up. Good luck man. I know how important this is and ill keep you in my prayers.
