Strongman Saturday
Sandbag pick and front carry. 80kg sandbag - 10 rounds going every third minute.
These felt pretty good. Hard work but pick felt strong and speed was ok.

Not sure to be honest bloke. Not 10?
.
Last rep was still moving quote well, but cardio/energy gets you in the end with high rep deadās. Haha.
Yer I was thinking maybe 8. Fatigue and breathing deff becomes a factor
I dumped the sand when i moved, but kept the bags. Would be nice to fill them back up and add in sandbag training on occasion.
My neighborhood is all hills which would make it quite interesting too.
Theres something primal about carrying the bag.
You should deff fill them back up and use them again. Even if you just do picks, holds, squats, shoulders etc. They are a great tool and you are right about how it feels to train with them.

Still happy with how squats went overall today. Solid rep PR on that weight for SSB and 20 at 100 isnāt terrible . Solid leg pump.

Good session tonight, fatigue is really building on this 6 week block. Felt a little sick all weekend but like a hangover but without the party.
Had 45 mins to kill this afternoon while my son was at his drum lesson. Gym is literally round the corner so dropped him off and went and did some farmers carry. 30c so nice and warm, great to be outside.

This really hits the top of the hamstrings and glutes.
@TrainForPain and @davemccright would love this session. The upper body pump is so good.
Pretty sure doms is supposed to at least wait till the next day. 2 hours after training and upper back soreness is already kicking in. Tomorrow will be fun.
Thatās awesome weight on the hammer incline! I donāt think itās necessarily easier than bench. Itās not an entirely different movement, but itās different enough that I think that weight is impressive by itself without a comparison
Thanks mate. I donāt know how it compares but it just felt good repping out with 3 a side.
Looks like a super awesome session! Chest and back together is always a cool combo, Arnold style! Strong numbers too Iām super envious of the Pullover Machine! Iāve always wanted to use one! How does it feel?
Like itās pulling my lats out ![]()
The stretch is great if you use the full rom.
The contraction at the bottom as your upper arms/ elbows push into the pads is so good and horrible at the same time.
That sounds like perfection
30 min walk by the ocean after dinner. It has been pretty hot here today, around 38c. There was a storm brewing as I walked and I felt a few spots of rain but managed to get home before the worst of it.
It helps the pullover machine at ESP is really nice.
Hammer Strength iirc?
Yes mate It is Hammer and really nice.
Beautiful, but brutal heat. Iāll take my snow!
