Should be a fun day. I am competing in
Masters under 105KG class, so will be giving up 10āyears and 10kg to others.

Hard, horrible, brilliant, terrible, so good, what am I doing. All thoughts during this squat session. This is a big volume PR at the weight. Even with a dodgy hip, this is good good stuff.

This was a long workout, the squats took so much out of me, I was basically out of breath for the rest of it. 2 hours of heavy breathing. Sounds like a good date night in my 20ās. This has to be one of the hardest squat sessions I have done period. Happy

I wouldnāt hold your breath on my family coming to watch. Pretty sure I have more chance of @T3hPwnisher coming along. Best I can do is my son but he is usually pretty silent when he is recording.

physically my left hip is still tight as heck and that is causing a lot of quad and knee pain but It doesnāt seem to stop em squatting if I just ignore the pain.
Tuesday night strongman conditioning
Decided to use the 60KG (132 lbs) sandbag and do a kind of Grace workout. 30 reps clean n press for time.
Decided I would just do 1 rep EMOM rather than go fast and blow up after 10 reps.
This was still a tough session, heart rate was 120-140 for most of it and elbows were pretty achy by the end

These were a bit a struggle. Good stuff
Dumbell curls

Nice bicep pump. Arms were already cooked from all the pulling. This was just a finisher.
Rotator cuff work - 5 mins
Proper good old bloody hard work.
The level of excitement going into this session was off the chart. I was thinking about @Dani_Shugart thinking about me thinking about Berry de Mey being excited. I donāt think I would have got through all those pulls without Dani and Berry cheering on. ![]()
