Woke at 85.9kg (189lbs) I was pissed that it dropped under 86 but it’s because I haven’t eaten or drink enough this week. Coming back from hols has really knocked me about. I have been seriously tired for the last 3 days. Will cruise through the end of this week, train again on Friday and prepare for a big week of eating and training next week.

Smashing some extra protein today to try and help with recovery and get the body weight moving up. Going to add some extra protein and carbs into the diet next week. Got to get to at least 90kg (200lbs) by the end of the year.

My daughter has her first training session for under 10’s basketball last night. She has moved from under 8’s mixed (boys and girls) to an under 10 girls team. She is only 7 and a half so will be playing on girls nearly 2 years older. She had a good training session and liked the new team and coach. No game this weekend as they have a bye so one more week of training next week to get game ready.
Woke this morning so I’m winning already!! Didn’t weight myself this morning. I was so tired I got ready like a zombie and was dressed before I even though about it. The 4 days of work this week have been tough. Having 2 weeks of sleeping in and coming back from a holiday has really knocked me about. I never usually have trouble getting out of bed but this week has not been good. Going to train again tonight ready to start the new program on Monday.

All up was done in 40 mins. Was very tired tonight so hit up some pre workout, seemed to help a little. Squats moved ok despite sore legs, bench moved good, deads moved and OH was alright. Very good overall little primer ready for some volume next week.

How many days are your new program btw? is it you own or?
The new training block is from my coach (friend) and is another volume block. There are 3 micro’s each micro is 4 sessions which is 2 weeks. I’ll still be training only 2 days a week. Pretty similar to my last Volume block with some minor changes. There is still a squat and bench day and a deadlift and oh day. In this block he has introduced CG tempo paused bench with a 3 sec down, 1 ssc pause and 2 sec press. He has also introduced paused bent over rows with a 3 count pause at the top. All up it’s six weeks of volume that I’ll need to eat big to get through.
He is going to follow that with a short (4 weeks) peaking block where we’ll reduce reps and increase load. Hopefully the combo of volume followed by some lower rep work will get me to 1234 at the end of the year.

Woke at 86.2kg (190) pretty happy to be over 86, my weight is usually lighter the morning after training. Body is sore and tight today, will rest up over the weekend and spend some time on the foam roller. Been away for 2 weeks so there is cars and motorbikes to wash, the yard needs some attention and other jobs to do,
So not sure how much rest I’ll get !!
Your pulls looked really fucking good today. Greg would approve. You got the jump cue down. Just watch your head, try not to crank it back so much right at the start. That’s minor though.

@MarkKO I was also thinking looking at it that I could do with dropping my hips a little more and sittting back more. It may just have been my hammies were tight which kept them a little high. Thoughts ?
