Lower back was still a little sore from my deadlifts on Friday. Just meant I had to brace better!!

Moved fine, Big pump !!

Good session. Back was still a bit sore from deadlifts so didn’t push the squats too hard. Everything else was just t up and down, up a d down.

High reps are horrible !! Really fkn panting after each set !!

Good session. Bench moved well, squats were tough though. Quad pump after the session tonight was off the chart. Felt good.

Friday 22 Jan peak week 2

Deadlift

Top set was slow but didn’t screw my back like last week!! The rest were fine.

Squat

Hips and quads were cooked from last nights squats. Just did some light triples to get some blood moving.

Bench

Left shoulder a little tight. Took the kids to the park today and was pushing about 5 kids on a big swing. May have over reached a little !! Old man problems.

Good session. Reduced the squat work tonight to give the legs some more recovery but everything else was to plan.

I just had a look at your IG videos mate. It looks to me like you kick the bar away from you when you drop your hips, which seems to throw your pull off to a degree. Maybe try standing slightly further away from the bar to avoid unnecessarily hard contact with your shins before you pull and be a little more patient.

Yes Flats we still talk a bit on IG. He was doing deadlifts last night also. He and his family are all well.

Yes mate I still speak to him on face book. His mum passed last year and he is now renovating her house. Full tear down and rebuild job. He is still training a little too. He is well mate. I will say hello to both of them from you next time I message them.

That’s good too! I hope the renovations are exciting and go smoothly. New construction can be so fun and invigorating , but dealing with contractors get stressful.
