Yeah you’re spot on.
I try to do both high and low rep stuff. On everything but squats I’m okay. But high rep squats sucks (in a good way though, I love being out of breath and almost passed out).

Wifey cooked so slow cooked BBQ pulled pork today. Have eaten way too much for dinner but I don’t care!!!

Yep. It’s one in the few things that cause me anxiety in the gym.

Pull moved good but the extra reps really gassed me!!

Kept the rest short and got a deep burn in my chest tonight. Quality

Decided to train on Thursday to give me the Easter weekend off and be fresher for squats next week. Worked well, body was strong and hit all the reps with no problems. Winning !

Easter Sunday today which means up early and hiding all the chocolate eggs for a big egg hunt. We live in a small court and there are a few families with kids so we all hide eggs through alll the front gardens and the kids all go crazy running round the court collecting eggs. Once they are all collected then the crazed chocolate eating begins ! We now have a house full of chocolate again just when i asked the misses to empty out all the bad stuff. Looks like I will be embracing the bloat again this week !!!

Ah don;t worry about, punch one of the big eggs and eat it like your a kid. It’s just extra fuel for your lifting later today mate/

I’m 33 and my mom does the same. I usually get a big bag if peanut M&Ms and they last about two days.

Gotta love moms. I was sent a copious amount of candy as well. Good for the gains, but can result in a more rotund midsection

I channeled my inner @bulldog9899 today and decided to re-grout the tiles in the walk in shower. Back and hips pretty angry from a day on my hands and knees or squatting down. Think a nice warm bath will be in order tonight !!

Me too mate but the misses has been after me to do it for weeks and week and with a long weekend I couldn’t put it off any longer. Clean up and caulking to tomorrow and the job is done.

I can’t really complain too much, we had the bathroom done about 10 years ago. I didn’t have the time or probably the skill to do it myself like you. This is the first time I have had to do any jobs for a couple of years other than the normal upkeep type stuff. If my two days of work makes the wife smile then I guess it’s worth it. :wink:

Had last sample of pre workout tonight and it made me sweat HARD!! I feel like it tries to make me rush so I used the clock to keep the rests long enough. Good session, feel great.

Spent the day with the kids today, took them to a local park this morning that has all kinds of slides and climbing ropes, water fountains and stuff. They had a great time and dad got to do a mix of climbing and sliding as well as sit in the sun and relax. Wife cooked spaghetti carbonara for dinner which was amazing. Are early with the kids, then trained then smashed another bowl of pasta after. Weight at 84.2kg today, 90+ here I come :smile:
