So you just never rest between sets? Or you’re saying you train so balls to the walls hard that every set leaves you too physically exhausted to focus on anything for the duration of your rest period?
If you’re gazing into your phone (probably much longer than you realize) my guess is you’re not training that hard. I walk around. Active recovery. Or just recover. No need to fiddle fuck on a phone. Most phone zombies are also inconsiderate douchebags that are oblivious to others.
No offense. None of that is directed at you. Just my opinion. My gym is full of these cocksuckers.

Now your assuming that I am ignorant. You blatantly called out a guy you don’t know for following a training style you don’t agree with. Being on your phone between sets doesn’t inherently make one an “inconsiderate douchebag” (your words are always so elegant…)… Could be 30 seconds could be 5 minutes between sets (for powerlifters this is not uncommon) doesn’t mean he is inconsiderate.
Based on posts by you and @aldebaran in this and other threads, it’s pretty apparent who the inconsiderate douchebag is leaky to be.

Yes that’s one of the reason I glance at it. After having done BB work for 6 months where I would force myself to use as little rest as possible, resting more than I would normally is actually a boon when doing the Olympic workouts that I’m doing right now! If I don’t wait enough performance suffers, evn with lighter weights
I too get upset when people in the same building as me have different goals to mine, train in a different style than me or rest between bouts differently (in time or activity) than I do
Well… I can perform 45 min workout without a phone in 120 min with facebook and insta. :(. When I started to put away my phone and do supersets and triple sets my workouts began very intensive very quickly.
I’ve seen some girls in my gym that holds their phones when they walk on treadmill, even when they push on leg press machine , leg extensions and leg curls etc. They have no results at all but who am I to take care of :).
I, for one, am shocked to find the gym as a gathering location for narcissists.
