You, sir, have a freakish knowledge of feminine creams and whatnot. Do you part time as a gyno?

i know skid is feel’n me. [/quote]

Thanks for all the ‘well wishes’.

Feeling a bit better today. Slept only half the day… Actually ate some real food today which I think helps a lot.

Meat-- I tried that mixture, and it made my throat feel much… fresher.

Accomplishment of the day: I managed to solve just about every “Poptropica” map today which made the kids happy…

Looks like you lost a bit of the bulk there buddy. That’s a bit sad.

Ah, now that’s music to this Canadian girl’s ears. We like to know there’s people out there looking out for our beavers.

Noodles

(weights ramped up to top weight unless noted otherwise)

A: Cable Rope P/D: 15, 15, 10, 140x6

B1: Seated Alt Curl: 10, 10, 50x10 (rough reps)

C: Floor “Pin” Press
Height = 1 Aerobic Step
135x10
185x8
205x6 (step +1 riser)
225x6+1 ( " " )

D: EZ P. Curl (heavy bar)
10, 10, 80x6, 90x2 (weights noted without bar weight because I don’t know what that is, but it’s bigger than the regular one)

E: EZ Skull Crusher
70x10, 80x10, 90x5, x4

F: Pinwheel Curls
10, 10, 60x8, 65x6

Have had better days.

All and all not too shabby given the last two days spent in bed with sub 2000 calories and probably sub 100g protein, and still not 100%.

Shoulder feeling much better, but still not 80%. Getting there.

Looks like your feeling better, Is that you in your avatar?

nice work.

Thanks. Feeling much better, but not 100% recovered. Throat is fine, but I’m still having a hard time eating even my reduced calorie goals.

Avatar: Yes. Sort of. That’s as close as a character on “Poptropica” as I could get. The beanie could be pulled down a bit more, head shaved, and a soul patch would do it.

Incidentally, if you have kids like 6-10 or so who are Internet saavy and like to solve mysteries, Poptropica (www.poptropica.com) is free and very entertaining (and somewhat educational in problem solving). Takes a few hours to get through each map (kids a little longer without help). They learn to pay attention to details of conversations (clues), ordering of events, and certainly some patience. I find myself laughing out loud at some of the things in the game. Very ‘family friendly’.

Dud,

I like the way your biceps are lookin’ in your avatar. Also the wheels are really comin’ along! Another year and I’ll be there too!

Thought I was feeling much better. Turns out, shortly after my last log entry, I started to feel nauseous. I wanted to eat but had no appetite. Managed to get down a shake and an apple. I slept all of 1 hour Friday night, and by about 3am was puking and nasty diarrhea.

Spent yesterday on the couch and in the bathroom.

I managed to eat a whopping 4 pieces of toast, a little thingy of yogurt, and some crackers. Tried sipping Gatorade throughout the day.

My daughter had the same ‘flu’ a few days before (tested neg for strep), so I think it’s making it’s rounds.

Of course, the past four days, all I can think about is how my numbers are going to drop…

I’m sorry to hear you haven’t recovered yet. It sounds like you’ve been pretty sick.

On the positive side, you will likely suffer less with the illness than other people would. I find that since I’ve started training, I get ill very little and when I do, I recover very quickly.

Just rest and do what you need to do.

Sorry to here that, bro. As you said before, this too shall pass.
And I wouldn’t worry about the numbers. As hard as you push yourself, they may go up…from the forced deload!

Feeling much better today. Actually ate food in some significant quantity.

I just wrote off last week and went for bench today. Did last week’s cycle/week (ie 3x5) and got similar bench numbers, so for 4 days of no food and dehydration, I broke even, I guess.

w/u, “Scap crap”

Bench/Tri
barx10, 135x10, 175x5, 195x5, 225x7

Inc. DB Press:
55x10, 80x6, 90x6, 100x4

EZ Bar Skull Crush:
70(+bar)x10, 90x4, 80x5, x6

S.M High Pin Press:
180(+bar)x6, 200x5, 230x5

More “Scap Crap”

I have to admit, I looked ‘less bloated’ than I did a week ago. Maybe I’ll go with a tapeworm and prunejuice cocktails for awhile…

Good to see you back…and glad to hear you’re doing better.

Got to admit the scrap crap stuff,e.g., scrap push ups and face pulls have been making the front parts of my shoulders feel a lot better. Glad you’re feeling better, enjoy the coctails.

Nice pressing, glad your recovering…

and nothing like a flu to see some hawt abz

Cycle 2, Week 3 (5x3x1)

w/u, Scap Crap, BW stuff, etc.

Sumo:
w/u135x5, 225x3
315x5
365x3
380x8 (Definite rep/wt PR)

RDL:
225x5
315x5
365x4

More Scap Crap

Actually, I really felt weak going in. Loading the 45’s on the bar felt like such a task, but ended up cranking out those DL sets. After the last RDL set, I just kinda crashed, so came home and ate some pizza.
