Had my first massage therapy today. Wow. I never knew somebody could get their hand under my scapula (subscapularis). Ouchy. This was awesome though. He said he never felt a knot so big there.
I’ll be going back. This guy is pretty cool. Former college coach/athletic director. His wife is a track coach at Colby College (local private school here). He does a lot of work for them, so he was right up on athletic orientation. Works with a lot of ‘throwers’, so shoulder work was right up his alley. Certified in “Kinesio-taping” as well as the P/T.
Later, went to 2nd P/T session. More scapula work, and he used some kind of infra-red laser that apparently breaks shit up in your muscles.
As I type this, I’m pretty stiff, but the benching felt great and I actually had some relief today.
Ass-hat experience of the day: So, I videoing my lifts at the gym tonight and this fucktard comes along, picks up my vidcam and takes the chair that it’s on!! Now, I sit the cam on a 25# plate for stability, and this chooch just moves it! So, I says “Uhhhh, I’m kind of using that.” He’s says “Oh, I didn’t know”. Well, why the fuck would you touch someones camera fucknut! He uses the chairs to do ‘bench dips’.
Fucking asshole. I won’t even bother with the fucktardery that happened while I was fishing tonight.
All in all, a good day for shoulder and lifting
Videos soon (maybe).[/quote]
Good job on the pr.
Please tell us about fishing. I love hearing those types of stories. I don’t really have a ton of my own. I’m usually the only tool in the room.
