I approve of this diet. Bacon and Ice Cream are food groups in their own (along with Pizza, Chocolate, and Ketchup).

Gravy goes with everything. “I’m goin off the rails on the Gravy Train…”

Steely…are you able to provide a recipe that combines all of the aforementioned food groups? I’m very curious :)[/quote]

How about this:

Have you guy’s had Mo’s Bacon Chocolate Bar?

It was surprisingly good. The pieces of bacon in the chocolate were small, as to not overpower the chocolate with bacon flavor.

Night of the (Sumo) Dead

Sumo:
155x5
205x5
245x5

Sumo “Rack Pull” (Actually, pulled from aerobic step + 2 risers = 2" below knees)
345x3
385x2 (3rd = Fail… Grip, fatigue, bad setup)
385x5 (straps + dbl. overhand grip)
435x3 ( " " )

Those elevated DL sets (esp. 435) set felt awesome to lockout. I fucked the bar with force and vigor… ;p

Alt. Biceps curls:
25x15
35x12
40x12

I’m all red and bothered now but don’t forget, it’s when you lock it out. It doesn’t count if the bar is just lying on the floor and you’re humping it like a dog. At least that’s what they told me… at my gym when they asked me to leave.

Oh… that’s what I did… I said some ‘purty’ things to it, had my way, then the management locked me out… of the gym .

The bar never really had a chance.

I need to move up to fucking the bar… I am usually just humping a foam roller
you guys know how to live.

  • I’ve decided I just don’t like doing triceps work on shoulder day. I liked doing one (maybe 2) set(s) of high rep benching, so I’m going to try to stay on that for awhile

What address should I mail my autograph to? I’m sure you’ll want to frame it and put it up on your wall

Hacked shrub growth with machete, 20 mins
Mowed Lawn

Looks kinda like a BB session - or was this another “deload” day

nice finish - hacking shrubs with a machete

Thanks Dog!

Yeah, I’ve been doing a hybrid type training. My DL, Squat, and Bench days, I’m liking the “5/3/1” approach using submaximal weights increasing over time. 2 reasons: Tweaky shoulder and tweaky back. I’m not doing it to the letter, rather, doing the basic workout (ie rep/set scheme) and adding assistance exercises as needed. I like the ‘rep outs’ of the last set-- essentially a BB-type philosophy on that, so it’s really not that far removed, IMO.

I keep my Upper Back and Shoulder days separate because my back responds to more volume and variety, and I like the intensity of back day. I like more DB work with shoulders and like back, I seem to respond better in a higher rep scheme. In both of those cases, I’m looking for strength AND size increases.

Me neither…but now that you have me, I will never leave. Until I find someone younger and more attractive that makes me laugh harder than you do. Until then, I am yours.

SD,

If I could borrow that machete for work, then all I’d need would be a leatherface mask…
