Ooops. I wrote “wife” instead of girlfriend.
Anyway, I too definitely hope that he bangs the British one, even though she was kind of psycho.

Send your friends a message that Dexter is after them. Lots of fun:

Well, I certainly see a hell of a lot of potential with the British girl, now…the new Brian…the only person who understands and accepts Dexter. If he ends up being sexually involved with her, though, I think that would just plain stink, far too predictable and unimaginative…that may be the direction the show takes, though, she sure was getting herself dolled up in that car mirror when she was waiting for him outside the station! That woman, though, is going to jack up the ratings.
Sgt. Doakes isn’t going to be off of Dexter’s case for long…he’s far too valuable for keeping suspense high and making people wonder what’s going to happen next. He’s the perfect anti-hero for the subject of the show.
There’s always been a rift between Dexter and Rita…their relationship is superficial and will be for as long as he needs to hide his true self…so, basically, the rift isn’t going away…ever.
The algae on the rocks isn’t going to do anything for the case. If anyone is going to break this case open, it won’t be Vincent, Lundy or even Doakes…it will be Debra. She won’t solve the case, she’ll just make big strides. However, if Lundy values his safety, he’d be well off to get the fuck outta Miami…I see him under Dexter’s knife. What would be really cool is if Dexter had him…but then let him go. We’ll see…
Crazy question - I missed the latest episode and can’t wait until I go home this weekend to catch it on the TiVo…anyone know of a place online where I can watch it?
I doubt it…since the Viacom/Google lawsuit, free TV has begun to disappear from teh internetz.
Man S3e4 didn’t do anything. I hate build-up. Ahh well hopefully heroes will be better tonight.
Dexter’s kinda built too.

Yeah, I also have a tough time getting that image of him out of my head. Does anyone know if he (Michael C. Hall) is actually gay in real life? He seems a bit effeminate . . . .

He will always be little gay David Fischer to me.
Six Feet Under > Dexter

I’m not entirely certain, but I remember seeing video from a premier party or something back in the Six Feet Under days that both he and his boyfriend(Keith) in Six Feet Under were straight and married in real life. Considering all the spit swapping they did, one wonders…

Aye…tv-links was working for me up until a week or so ago, but now I find myself constantly looking all over for a site with prompt updates.

Torrents, my friends, torrents.
You can find just about any TV show on Demonoid or Isohunt within hours of the broadcast. Ditto for movies as long as you don’t mind watching shitty pirated camcorder copies.

I’ll check it out, thanks, man.
I love this show. I’m going as Dexter on Halloween. I’m sure that 99% of the people won’t get it, but that won’t stop me from plunging my fake 50cc syringe into their necks at every opportunity. All I need is some handiwrap…
Anyone see the latest episode? Best episode of the show so far. His dialog is just awesome. Seeing his super hot sponsor naked didn’t hurt either.
Yeah, she’s gotta’ spend more time naked. And he’s gotta’ start spending time taking advantage of that. ![]()

Agreed his main bitch is a little to bossy for him he needs to teach her a lesson and go with the sponsor for a night.
Thanks to you guys, I am hooked on this damn show.
The narration is just plain creepy. I like it.
Last night’s episode was only my second one to watch. It had me in suspense and then questioning why he didn’t kill the bartender.

You will…just keep watching, mwa ha ha ha ha.
The “Code of Harry” isn’t why he didn’t kill the guy in the bar. The Code of Harry would’ve completely allowed him to kill that guy; the guy had killed Dexter’s mother, so he deserved it. Dexter didn’t kill the guy because he was trying to overcome his compulsion to kill, and the British chick had been trying to help him overcome his addiction (even though she thinks his addiction is to drugs/drinking – she doesn’t know it’s an addiction to killing).
Harry, for the record, was Dexter’s father, who died years earlier. They constantly flash back to scenes with Harry and Dexter as a child throughout the show. In short, Harry was a cop who adopted Dexter after rescuing him from the crime scene where his mother was killed. Dexter and his brother were locked in a shipping container with their mother, and some bad dudes came in and killed the mother with a chainsaw in front of their eyes, hence Dexter now being all fucked up in the head. Harry was the cop who arrived at the crime scene afterwards and took the kids out of there, and he adopted Dexter (but not the other brother, for some reason).
Harry understood that Dexter was different and realized from a young age that he had a compulsion to kill (first animals and then humans). Harry nurtured Dexter’s compulsion and taught him to channel it into killing only bad people (murderers, criminals, etc.), and also taught him how to be careful about things and cover his tracks. So that’s the code that Dexter has always lived by: He only kills bad people.
So he could’ve killed that guy in the bar according to that code (the guy had killed his mother years ago), but his willpower to overcome his addiction to killing intervened.
