I understood why he was killed off, but to me Quinn was nothing be a screwup last season, getting drunk and banging whores. I didn’t understand how that really helped the show, it was like his character was in a repeat mode.
Didn’t they kill off another black cop? It’s been a long time since I watched any episodes (I watched the first 6 seasons in a month). I remember that guy being cool too.

Doakes, the man Dexter pinned all his early kills on when they discovered the sea of Dexter’s dumped bodies. He’ll actually probably be mentioned a bit this season since LaGuerta discovered the blood slide at the crime scene.
Additionally, willing to put money on Dexter killing LaGuerta this season.

So what did everyone think of episode 2? I like how the season is shaping up. It will be interesting to see how it all unfolds. I’m glad its straying a little from the previous seasons framework of serial killer appearing and dexter taking out said serial killer.

I gotta say how stupid do you got to be if your Louis. You fuck with a guy because he doesn’t like your game and he ups the ante tremendously by breaking into your house and telling you to stay away. Then you say you know what I’m not only gonna stick around, I’m gonna go to where he lives and hangout with my girlfriend there. So louis doesn’t heed Dexter’s warning and rubs it in his face.
Now dexter ups the ante even more by not only breaking into your house undetected but now he drugs you by injecting a pharmaceutical grade anesthetic into your neck, M99 which is easily one of the strongest out there. They drop big game like rhino’s and elephants all the time with this stuff. Your ass wakes up on a park bench and you still dont take the hint that maybe I shouldn’t be fucking with this guy when your only recourse is to do some computer stuff to the guy.
Even if you didn’t know what Dexter is fully capable of, it still shows that he’s willing to break numerous laws and easily has your life in his hands, shouldn’t you be the least bit scared for your life and wouldn’t preservation for your life kick in at some point? I’m curious to see when dexter finally snaps and just destroys Louis.
Also, I’m curious about this bracelet. I feel like that may be a little farfetched, but who knows. Some russian mafia guy is gonna go up against Dexter, not quite as out there as previous seasons but we’ll see.
I’ve been speculating that Louis will be the bastard son of someone related to Dexter. Obvious candidates are Brian (ages seem to make this impossible though) or Harry.

Good episode. A good key in the show was that Dexter is willing to drug Deb in order to kill or get what he wants.
The bracelet will start a good story between the Russian and Dexter. I am curious to how it folds out. I sort of wonder if the Russian will makes a threat and Dexter starts to kill his men starting with the bodyguard or the club manager.
It is nice that the stories are more about Dexter and not another serial killer. Although I do see Yvonne character could be a killer of several men.

Pretty sure in the trailer for this season there was a clip of Masuka getting his throat slit. More then likely just a “dream sequence” but maybe the AZN’s are no longer safe??
