I always thought the show would end with Dexter taking a bullet saving his sis. I always thought Deb would find out eventually, that’s way too good of a story arc to pass up.
I actually thought it was going to happen this season. Did anybody else catch when she’s talking to the therapist and she tells her she used to sneak into Dexter’s room and sleep on the floor when she was scared. She says “they” never even knew she was there, and she gets a funny look on her face. I thought she might have remembered Dexter and Harry talking about some weird shit or something.
Now this is an interesting observation. I assumed she meant Dexter and the family in general but then I missed the subtleties surrounding Travis too.
So Dexter cover will get blow by a therapist who counsels Deb the retarded sister, who would’ve guessed.

More that the conversations will unlock memories and what not for our damaged Deb, which will ultimately lead to her questioning odd events and outcomes. She’ll start getting suspicious and will probably find something and blah blah blah.
Regarding four60’s proposed series ending, on the flip side the creators could end it on a completely different note. With Dexter’s greatest fear being that he’s passed the dark passenger on to Harrison, it would make more sense for him to turn out alright. They could tease that he indeed has it, but it’ll be quickly explained as nothing but a fake out.
If Dexter survives the series though, I think Harrison won’t grow up normal and they would allude to that in the series finale.
Did anybody catch what Louis was doing with the ITK hand? I rewound it a couple times, but I’m streaming it on my laptop on the quality is pretty shitty. There is palm reading stuff on the computer screen, and he draws 2 red lines on the palm. Probably the most interesting part of the whole episode. Also where he tells Dexter “You’ve inspired me to go out and do things” or whatever sounds a lot like foreshadowing, next serial killer maybe.
Rest was kinda meh. Travis leaving Batista in a burning building was lame, in reality he would have just shot him. Same with the lake of fire BS. Horrible James Bond villain move right there.
And the Dexter/Deb incest plotline is really awkward.
That being the case, I don’t think they’re completely going to blow the cover for Dexter with Deb; however, I do think her suspicions will finally be ignited in the season finale as she can’t figure out why Travis is so involved in Dexter’s affairs. Louis will probably play a hand in outing him as well out of spite.

I think the lab geek has no clue about dexter being a serial killer. But, knows hes the brother of the ice truck killer. I think, he will dig into dexter more, find things out and become a big nemesis.
I agree, the dexter/debra incest thing, had me almost changing the channel, cause it was uncomfortable watching it. hopefully, they don’t go to much into it.

outing dexter will not be easy. #1 rule of his code is: never get caught. if the lab geek ever gets to the point of proving to be anything more than a nuisance, he will be killed. How do you out dexter? his bodies are all at the bottom of the ocean, with no evidence pointing to dexter. As smart as the lab geek is, hes nothing compared to dexter, whos been killin people for a long long time now.
Not sure but I just had that feeling that it was not Trinity.
Wouldn’t be surprised if it was Dexter…
Whoever it was, I’d like to thank him/her/it. Rita annoyed me to no end!
Word. That Rita character was getting on to my nerves.
