No, I was challenging you to a beard off for the next check in thread that rolled around. Give me something to do. Been a while since there’s been a beard thread though, if memory serves.
I’m down I can’t start for another couple months.
Waiting on puberty?
we got that in common Baub. Venison is some great low fat protein!

I save all my vacation and take a month off every fall. All I do is hunt during that month.

In the spring/summer I fish. Fall I hunt big game. Winter I play hockey and hunt coyotes. (just the old man’s league though)

LMAO. I’m a hairy Sicilian and that hair bed thing is so true. I’ve actually started growing a beard a la There Will Be Blood. Feels like I have a god damn paint brush over my upper lip.

See. want. must have.
Here. 2-3 weeks growth. Gonna let it grow another 2-3 weeks before I start properly grooming it. I’ve been constantly trimming everything but the mustache. I’m going for a heavy mustache, light beard.
Serious Stache…

I forgot to put blacksmithing. This is something I saw in the movie Mongols and I thought would be handy on pack trips, and it has been. A simple project but it keeps a fire going hot.

Alright…

So, you have a fire pit and then you put this ringy thing above it…

???

I just use it to keep wood upright, it keeps the heat coming out of it. The fire pit is just there, not really needed. (That pic is in my yard). The ring is what I am talking about. 3 uprights with 3 rings riveted to them.

You do not staple it like you normally would, but you have it forming a keg, more or less?

Finally another 14th Century enthusiast… so many prefer 12th century
They just want to get off easy with the shorter reading list.

The wood? More or less, yes. Burns really warm

Why you gotta 1-up me like that. There’s gotta be one thing I can do that you can’t. Besides make a good sandwich.
You can have multiple orgasms. Men can, but not the same kind they are used to. The female body trumps the male body in many respects.

Bauber, nice pics. Is that in season, or on a farmer’s nuisance permit? As a kid I loved going to the woods with my father, so from that perspective, please continue to include your boy in that activity. Even in the gutting, skinning, butchering. It will be easier to teach now than later.

My hobbies:

Hunting - Especially Archery, Rifle isn’t as challenging/intense
Fishing
Video Games
Playing with my 3 dogs
Playing with the Mrs.
Going to the movies

Hobbies

 • I love to make stuff with lego. I remember when I was young I would stay up till 5 in the morning just playing with the stuff. Skyscrapers, pyramids, logos… the pic is an example.
 • Painting walls. The background doesn’t show well but I painted the wall two shades of blue and then sponged on a white to make it looks like clouds.
 • Reading books/listening to Audiobooks (both fiction and non-fiction)
 • Learning random skills; my last was becoming fully ambidextrous, now trying Latin
 • Writing
 • Learning Biology
 • Watching TV/Movies

-sailboat racing
-fishing
-riding and building longboards
-snowboarding

The above video is a clip from last years Anchorage Cup. We took first in our division and first out of the entire fleet.

Now THAT’S and admirable hobby!

Wettin a line…

Photography is something I enjoy, but don’t do consistent enough to get better at it.
