No I don’t own a flooring company. Those were done a few years ago when I worked for my dad. He is a finish carpenter. He moved to GA two years ago so he is closer obviously. I work in a corporate environment now, he took all the machinery down south with him haha.

He could potentially do it, I don’t know if he would want to travel to TX to do a custom floor, he is kind of busy, but I could find out if you were really interested in having a custom floor done. He could also do any other custom finish work, kitchens, bathrooms, stairwells, etc…
Thank you sir, very kind of you, but the new house we close on in Sept already has custom flooring.

Hey, no problem. I saw your house in the Projector thread, nice place. Congratulations.

Thanks. We have stepped down in house size as our kids have left the house.

This is our house before we retire home.

I forgot to put blacksmithing. This is something I saw in the movie Mongols and I thought would be handy on pack trips, and it has been. A simple project but it keeps a fire going hot.
I’m a piro so that’s right up my alley, simple but effective. I use a 45 gallon drum cut in half lengthwise set in a metal frame that’s a little smaller so it sits right in. When it rots you just toss it out and get another one.

This is a picture of a friend of mines contraption.

Nards do you pics of your cabinetry?
I’m obviously not Nards but here is a wine rack I made for customer earlier this year. Solid white oak, this thing must weigh 400lbs. Its about 72" by 50" or so.
Let’s give it a toss.

How much?
Can you make it in cherry?
Can you ship it to Texas?

Not joking
Spending that extra money already! ;-)
Jaja…

First he needs a cherry winerack, then he needs to fill it, the comes a wineyard, its practically garantueed…

And then he will make a video about wineyardery and show it to all his friends on his newly aquired projector and he shall vote Republican forever after !

My hobbies suck right now. I’m excited to move so I can get into windsurfing. I think I also want to try longboarding as well but I’ll probably just hurt myself.

Right now, as much as I hate to admit it, I play a LOT of slowpitch softball. I, however, pride myself on not being “softball guy.”

For some reason I really like watching other people play video games, even more than I like to play them myself.

Sometimes I get really into something idiotic and dedicate a solid few weeks to it. For example, I learned lock picking in college when my roommate was messing with me and locked me out of my room.

Where did that window end up?
If I remember right, Notre Dame University. We only did a few sets in that custom color.

Here’s one of the most complex we’d ever done in St Francis of Asissi in Oregon- all triangles divided and arranged to create this-
