Awww poor guy!!
African Grey’s can be quite smart. I don’t know if you’ve ever seen Alex the parrot, but he was pretty impressive.

Yeah, and he seemed to be picking his feathers out, which isn’t a great sign in birds. He was an incredible bird. That is why I posted it, I am not sure if his treatment was great though.

Yeah, thats a sign of stress in them.
My brother had an african grey parrot. Amazing little creature. It had certain calls for each person he regularly saw, and would do a daily run through a bunch of his words and sounds.

I like birds but hate the way their cages tend to smell.
Only pets I have right now are fish.

Yeah, they can get a little hairy sometimes.
I only have cats now, but my neighbors dogs like to play & visit. I give them my salmon skins and left overs.
Anyone else here like reptiles as pets?
Big fan of Beardies (who isn’t?) and Uromastyx, but the little one wants a snake for her BDay… thinking of getting a White Wedding Ball Python.
^this one’s a bit small, but the females get 4-5 feet long.
There’s a pet shop nearby that has 2 females ready to sell - we might be bringing one home with us… I’ll make sure to post pictures if/when we do.

I remoted in for work today, and the first order of business at the weekly team meeting was “Where’s Buttons??”
But she unfortunately had other plans. She’s doing her mountain man thing today.

Nice! Years ago I had an albino Burmese. Was white, yellow and orange. They are so cool. Mine was about 3’ before I had to get rid of him.

I had a speckled king snake for awhile and would love to get a rosy boa but wife doesn’t like snakes…
Maybe a tarantula instead would be cool.

Stuffy with his little Bubba. He loves that thing so much. He carries it around and licks it. He wants you to pet it, too. Anytime there is a loud noise, he runs to find it.
