This summer my mom dad and brother are going to Austria, Germany and other places around that general area. They’re going for 10 days and really want me to come along, this would be 7 days after I get back from another 10 day long vacation (i’m not a spoiled rich dude, my mom’s on a conference so it’s relatively cheap).
I really don’t want to take another 10 days off from training, my summer league volleyball team and being able to see my friends. I just got home from college on friday whereas most of my friends have been home for a month, and they go back like August 20th, so I won’t have too long to spend with them if I decide to go. This is really my last summer before I have to get a career related job and will be home for the summer.
Basically what I want to ask from the T-Nation crowd is should I go to Europe to have the experience or should I stay home to enjoy my last real carefree summer?

Unless you have it firmly planned in your future to go to Europe, I think it’s stupid to pass up the chance.
There are plenty of summers. Go get the experience, it’s beautiful over there. A lot nicer than Delaware at least.
GO TO EUROPE!!! IT’S WHERE ALL THE HISTORY IS!!! lol!
Seriously, you should travel to different places with every opportunity you get. Austria’s a beautiful country (Although they are one of the few contries left with dodgy bank accounts for money laundering!)
