Should I get Varicocele Embolisation?

I am 20 y/o, and had some low t symptoms… got checked out was at the bottom of normal range - did examination found i had varicocele. Was told it wouldnt have impact on testosterone… Saw urologist today and was told it was about a grade 3 (was looking a bit smaller than usual)

Getting scan in few weeks and booked in for embolisation.

Are the risks outweighed by the advantages of me having this done? I have a slight ache at times - most prominent during ejaculation, and after research have seen some people respond by having higher testosterone.

Any opinions on whether i should have this done, surgery or not at all?

Im in the same boat as you. Im 30y/o but I have bilateral a grade 3 on the left and a grade 2 on the right. I have had them sense i was 25y/o when they first appared they sent me to the ER 3 times and my urologist told me that if they were causing me pain I should get them removed. I refused because the symptoms of pain was not every day maybe like once a week. But then the pain started to happen less and less and I was able just to live with the little discomfit they did cause me. But now 3 years later when I turned 28 my whole life changed. My libido crashed could not recieve errections any more. MY energy crashed and my total T came in about 317pg. I have been on TRT for the past 1year and a half and I am still trying to get dialed in.

My self has been debating about if I should get this surgery done. But I do believe if I get it done I still mite end up on TRT still. But maybe it might help make me fell better on TRT

Im not sure. But I do wish I would have got them fixed a long time ago
