You know, I could get past it, if not every time he open’s his mouth something stupid comes out…
His fight against oppression by American Police, but then he supports, Castro one of the most oppressive dictators in history, just blows my mind.
You want to feel oppressed live under Casto’s Cuba. Then kneel for their flag… They will fucking shoot you. Fuck Kap.
He’s too stupid to play…
Technically, it’s not “his right”. He signed a contract that has in it, specific tolerated behaviors regarding the National Anthem. It’s not his stage or his position, it’s the NFL’s. On his own time he can be a commie, but not on NFL time.
It’s his right to hate, degrade, shit on the flag, etc. on his time. When he is working, he has to tow the company line just like the rest of us do.
He’s not special. They should have broken out his contract, showed what he signed and held him to account and it would have all worked out better for everybody.
We wouldn’t have to deal with that shit and he would understand he’s breaking a league rule. A league he freely signed with with the required behavior during game time written in black and white with his legal signature.
Ah hell, I don’t know why this is coming up again. He’s never going to play football again. He was never good enough for a team to put up with a media circus to sign him.
Amen to that.
Shut up and get your hands dirty Kap. Giving money and yapping only goes so far. And by the optics, hasn’t done one damn thing.
Teach in the ghetto for one year. IF you survive, at least you’ll know a little something about what you are talking about.
I am SF myself, so, from the brotherhood to him, fuck that backstabbing quasi-American prick.
This issue has nothing to do with football.
Let’s recount some things I remember this piece of shit saying:
Loves Fidel Castro, really admires one of the greatest violators of human rights that ever walked this planet. A man dedicated to the wonderful blessings of communism.
Early last year, referred to the American Police as a “runaway slave patrol”
States police shootings are " lawful Lynching". Brilliant analysis.
Look, you like him fine, that’s your right, but, I don’t know what in the hell you are basing it on. I sure as hell hope you don’t agree with his actions or statements.
That’s enough, I am sick of talking about this piece of shit.
Colin’s father is black, and he didn’t stick around to raise him. Why doesn’t he take a knee over that since that is more likely to happen to black people than getting shot by a cop?
Mmkay… So, if you play good it doesn’t matter that you wear socks with cops depicted as pigs or Fidel Castro t-shirts when talking about equality. Got it…
Sure, during a ceremony to honor America. You’re right, I can’t see why that pisses people off…
I wouldn’t put it past that piece of shit.
Cool story. I didn’t know one SF guy speaks for all of us veterans. Glad I know because knowing is half the battle.
I don’t think I’ve read anything about him not having the right to do this; that this doesn’t fall under protected speech (although he is on company time so how his employers deal with it is another matter). Most just don’t agree with the message because it is based on a false narrative. Colin can believe that cops are slaughtering blacks in the streets but since, as far as I know, he never lived in those streets he is basing it on social media and biased news coverage that has the mentality of putting being first above being accurate. I lived in the ghetto and I saw a lot of black people doing stupid things and criminal things. I didn’t see cops going around murdeing people. I do know, or did know, a couple of people of color who were murdered by other people of color.
A little perspective, 650 people were murdered in Chicago and 343 in Baltimore in 2017 (993). Two cities had more murders than the total number of police killing (justified and unjustified) in the entire United States.
Well, I mean… I’ve got family members that were calling for him to be hung in the street. Not sure if whether or not it’s a legal right really matters here.
You are protected from the government but not your employer. I don’t think anyone was calling for it to be made a crime. At least not on this thread. Anyone who thinks it should be criminal, especially anyone who thinks it should be a capital offense, does not know why this country exists in the first place.
He literally is violating the contract he signed with the NFL. Violate your company’s policies and see if you’re employed very long. Then demand they accept your violation as ‘your right’ and using ‘your platform’ for change.
And then see recent videos and new stories and notice, not a damn thing has changed. People getting arrested at Starbucks for being black, another shooting here, another one there…
Bravo Kap… you made such a difference…
Exactly zero veterans I have talked to since he started this nonsense support him. They support his right to free speech as long has he supports their right to hate his guts.
See a lot of vet’s belong to communities of vets and a lot of those communities decided to boycott the NFL… This is a very real set of scenarios.
I shouldn’t have picked your post to respond to, I know you know. I meant it more for @libanbolt…
