Shoes....Damn You Cressey!

Why wouldn’t they be good for distance running?

IMO, your feet would hurt unless you are doing your running on grass or some other soft surface. I don’t do any distance running, but the thought of pounding out 5 miles on the sidewalk or or street barefoot (which is essentially what it would feel like, as there is no padding to speak of in the shoe) sounds painful.

But if you already run distance barefoot then these would offer more protection for you feet with the same feel.

People have been sprinting and cutting to the side for a long time before Sambas were around. You’d be surprised how well your feet work when you let them.

I have actually, before I bought the 3.0 Free’s. It worked as a really good rehab from my knees and down to my feet. You really learn how to run softly. That in conjunction with the thick callouses I developed under my feet made me able to run on the occassional glass piece without injury. Try it

While on the topic of good shoes.
I just got Converse All*Star shoes and they seem to give no support.
Are they any good?
btw they don’t have ankle support
