Shipping in Canada

Hello to all readers! This site has become one of my favorite source of information regarding training and, Biotest as become the company that I would like to try but cant due to the fact that it is un available in Canada or it is very hard to find.

SO here’s my questions,

Has anybody ordered successfully product like Alpha Male into Canada? What was the shipping cost, borders, delay etc…

I find these are question that are stopping from ordering products into Canada…

Actually I have ordered a number of products from this site and I live in Quebec as well (Montreal).

I have never had any issues to date with customs or the US border service. This includes shipment of HOT-ROX.

I have had success with everything but MAG-10 back in the day. HRX, Alpha Male, Trib, BCAA’s all have come through. You will be given a shipping total on checkout and will most likely have to pay some duty and tax on top.

Thanks for the info. Some mentioned that SND was an option but paying 69$ CAN for 1 bottle of Carbolin 19 is a little steep. Given that it is 29$ on this site.

But the you never know if it will comes thrue or not… Canadian custom can be a bit … well say that they are miserable at their job and want to make all canadian suffer for their misery.

I haven’t had much (if any) trouble with getting products delivered up here. Although my last order (Surge and BCAA’s) was opened by the customs folks at the border.

Nova Scotia here and I haven’t had any problems ordering anything so far I’ve gotten

I’m in ON here and I paid an arm and a leg for shipping… won’t do that again unless things change :frowning:

Here’s my $0.02 for what it’s worth.

I have received EVERYTHING I have ever ordered from T-Nation/Biotest. Including MAG-10, Androsol, HRX, etc.

Last order I used the Fedex shipping option. I normally use the cheaper one but then get dinged for about $10-15 for customs/postage, etc.

So, I used the more expensive Fedex. Got charged about $16.00 extra and had my package opened. Still got everything but won’t use Fedex option again.

But from what I’ve seen here, Alberta is different than Ontario and I have to assume Quebec would be as well.

Well Tyr, it is my understanding the regulations are not the same from one province to another, so these differences are normal. That’s why it would be fun to have input like yours for every province, telling us the average shipping cost, plus duty etc…

i have made a dozen orders and i live in Ontario. that includes HRX (although it’s been more or less proven that Fedex is the only way you’ll get HRX in the country - USPS will deny it).

SND is a rip-off compared to ordering directly from Biotest, that’s why i make large orders so that the cost is amortized a little better, and my bottles come out costing me closer to $35-40 CDN as opposed to $50+ from SND, and this is just Metabolic Drive. They stopped even stocking Biotest products at the Oakville location because (in the words of the cashier) “they are unpopular”. Fuck them. My last order from Biotest was around $450 CDN afer shipping and everything, and that was for 10 BOTTLES of Metabolic Drive, 1 BOTTLE of HOT-ROX Xtreme, and 1 BOTTLE of Power Drive. The MD alone would have cost me ~$570 CDN!! So not only did I save money on the MD, but i theoretically got the PD and HRX FREE depending how you look at it.

Fedex is at my door on the 3rd business day.

USPS is either 1-2 weeks.

Yea, I’ve never had a problem, even with MAG-10. I, for one, would love to see a Biotest Canada outlet. I find the variables of exchanges, shipping and customs to be a pain, which turns a 35 dollar product in to 50 dollar + product. Would be nice to have a Canadian site with Canadian prices.

I honestly don’t remember how long my one Fedex order took. I would assume it was right on time though since it was not memorable.

The USPS option. For the most part, actually everytime but the last, it’s been about 6-8 days. Last time it took 11 but I did order Friday so there were two weekends in between.

There are no real “rules” at customs either. I deal w/ them everyday. They can deny/ let through what they want. But I will say that I have only ever used USPS for my HRX deliveries.

Interesting. Some people swear that USPS will absolutely deny their HRX orders, but if they come through for you then I think it would be safe to say: use USPS at your own risk when ordering questionable items like HRX for example.
