I’ve been wanting a Recipe Forum, but I thought maybe it was just my estrogen talking . . .

 No, apperantly it’s been wanted for some time.

Also, thanks chinadoll for resurrecting!

Here was my breakfast from a while ago, many calories, easy as shit to make, but it contains a good amount of both carbs and fat. So it’s only for us young people who really need to put no any form of weight period.

In a blender, add

  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 scoops chocolate Grow!

blend for a few seconds, then add

  • 1 large banana, diced

blend for about 30 seconds on high, then add

  • 1 serving of natural peanut butter (2 topped off tbsps, or ~1 heaping tbsp)

and blend on high for about another 30 seconds.

Tastes absolutely delicious, very easy to make, and has a lot of calories (off the top of my head, I think it’s about 700, probably nearing 800 if you use whole milk and the Low-Carb Grow! which has more kCals per scoop).

You’re welcomed! And thank you for your recipe!

Let’s keep this thread going!

SUPER PROTEIN LEAN TEX-MEX MEATLOAF

-1 Packet Tex-Mex Chili Mix (Schilling or similar brand)
-2 Pounds lean ground beef, chicken or turkey
-1 cup chopped onion
-4-scoops neutral (unflavored) whey protein powder
-3-4 egg whites
-Garlic powder, pepper
-1 TBS. yellow mustard
-1/2 cup ketchup
-Dash worchestershire sauce
-1 cup ketchup

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all of the above ingredients, except for the 1 cup of ketchup, in a large bowl. Spray small baking pan or two loaf pans with cooking spray. Place meat mixture into pan(s) and pat down to even out the surface. Spread the top with remaining ketchup. Bake uncovered, around 40-50 minutes until the center is done. Upon removing from the oven, immediately pour off any visible fat.

I have tons of recipes using unflavored whey. You can make any dish very high protein using it. Here’s to Biotest making an unflavored Low-Carb Grow!! powder!!

Chocolate Almond ‘Biotest Blizzard’

1 Dannon Carb Control Vanilla Creme Yogurt

1 scoop of Chocolate Grow!

almond extract

toasted almonds or almond meal (also toasted)

blend with ice and water…

My Mom’s chili recipe:

Thinking about it is making my mouth water. Might be time for another big ol’ honkin’ batch.

CHICKEN BREAST BURGERS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare two cookie sheets by spraying with cooking spray.

-1/2 yellow onion, finely chopped
-1/4 Yellow Pepper, finely chopped
-1/4 Red Pepper, finely chopped
-Cooking spray
-Garlic Salt, pepper
Sautee and season over high heat until the vegetables are becoming carmellized, then cool them to room temperature.

-3 pounds ground chicken breast (you may use turkey breast, which is easier to find, but I hate turkey and hence I use chicken)
-2 TBS soy sauce
-Garlic salt, lemon pepper, cayenne pepper
-1/2 cup Egg whites or egg white substitute
-1 cup unflavored whey protein powder
Mix the soy sauce into the chicken. Season with garlic salt, lemon pepper and (optional) cayenne pepper. Mix well. Add the egg whites and mix well. Add 1/3 of the whey at a time, mixing well. Add more if the mixture is too damp. Add the vegetables and mix well.

Using a 1/3 cup measuring cup, scoop one leveled cup of the mixture, then drop onto the baking pans to form patties (you won’t be able to use your hands, the mixture is too moist/slightly runny). Shape the patties with a fork. Bake for 20-40 minutes until set. Immediately remove from the cookie sheets using a spatula.

They look a bit weird, but are high protien, low fat and taste wonderful, not dry like lean hamburger patties. Be creative and top with a variety of vegetables or condiments. For example, I’ll top with hot sauce and sauteed onions, or a tablespoon of pizza sauce and some lowfat mozzerella.

Potato recipe- that I eat on the side of a lean red meat or chicken dish.

Wash and pierce potato

Throw in microwave for 4 to 5 minutes (on full power) per side- total baking time in microwave of about 9-10 minutes- depending on size of the potato.

Split open (but not all the way). Add in some butter.

After ten minutes or so- slice the potato the rest of the way and throw it in a plastic bag with some marinade. I find it works best with some Lawry’s Herb and Garlic marinade or Lawry’s Red Pepper marinade (if you like spice).

Let it sit in the marinade for about 30-45 minutes (longer won’t hurt it ).

When you grill your meat- put the potatoes face down on the back burner (the one that sits higher than the other- I’m assuming you use a Weber Gas grill- if it’s a charcoal grill- keep them away from direct high heat).

Keep the potatoes on the grill for about 7-8 minutes- turning over when you turn over your meat.

Serve and enjoy. Done right- these have always been good crowd pleasers.

Blueberry Muffin Protein Bars

1/2 cup applesauce (no sugar added)

4 egg whites

2 scoops vanilla Grow!

almond extract to taste

1 tbsp ground flax

1 tbsp toasted almond meal (optional)

combine and bake in a 8 x 8 pan @350 for approx. 20 minutes.[/quote]

Great Recipe!! Thanks. I tried it today but I made some alterations you may want to try…I cut the applesauce in half and subbed cottage cheese. I omitted almond extract and meal. I also added lots of blueberries (maybe you just forgot to add that ingredient on the list) and then mixed in some chunks of fat free cream cheese…mmmm

The mods hate me for never proofreading! Yes, blueberries are a very important ingredient!! I’d better go back and edit. Cream cheese…yummy!

Trying to keep it going here,

Spicy Veggy Burgers.

Chop in small pcs, green peppers, onions, jalapenos. Mix in bowl with 90/10 hamurger meat (use 90/10 or less so the meat stays together) Add in a little salt, pepper, garlic powder and crushed red pepper. I tend to go overboard with the crushed red pepper, because the hotter the better. Make into patties, you can freeze the extras as they taste just as good thawed.

Grill to your taste, serve on a toasted bun with hot pepper cheese and you won’t taste a better burger. Every one I made these for fell in love with them.

PS. anyone tried the V8 V-Fusion? Very tasty, anyone tried to mix it in their protein shakes?

Protein drink:

4 raw eggs + milk (0.2-0.3 dl) + choclate powder. Remember to mix if you dont like the constistence of egg

Thinking of adding more stuff, any tips ?

Looks good everyone! I’m definitely trying out that protein pumpkin pie of AG’s.

But I have a request. I need a sneaky way to get more vegetables in my diet. Anyone have a recipe for something like ground turkey, peas & cauliflower casserole?

Mini Pizzas

Pack of mini-tortillas
Pack of bolognese sauce (make it a good brand - this is what makes them taste authentic)
Low-fat cheese
Toppings of your choice.

Spread the bolognese sauce over the torillas. Grate the cheese and lay that over the tortillas too. Next is up to you - my favourite is onion, green and yellow pepper, pepperoni, ham and chicken breast (cook this until almost done first, then chop it up and add to the pizzas). Now bake.

Mine came in at 20gP/20gC/12gF each, but it depends on how you make them. The basic idea is that you can make it yourself from fresh ingredients and go light on the base and heavy on the toppings!

I presume it works with big tortillas too but I haven’t tried.
