My favorite part is when shaq falls to his knees and keeps trying to box.
LMAO that was awesome! For those that don’t know Shaq actually trains in different forms of MMA and has been doing so for quite a while. I have some old school small time MMA tournaments where there are probably less then 200 people in the stands yet you see Shaq sitting there front and center, so he knows a thing or two about fighting.
Props to Sugar Shane Mosley for hanging in their with that monster. I can’t imaging how hard it would be to fight with that much weight leaned on you the entire time.
I laughed and was amazed at the size of Shaq. Its one thing to see him on the court standing next to a 6’5 player. But this was just…wow. But yeah when he was tagged by sugar it seemed shaq was going to knock him out. Then the dropping to the knees and still being taller thing had me in tears.
I didn’t like it when Shaq went to his knees. To me that was showing up Mosely. I wanted Sugar to knock him out after that.
I thought it was a better fight than when he fought Oscar De La Hoya. De La Hoya didn’t seem to be able to hurt Shaq. I thought Mosley got in some shots that did hurt him.
My favorite part of the whole show was when Shaq said “we called the heavyweights, we called the middle weights, they didn’t call back”. LMAO. That translates to “my people told me they called the heavyweights and the middleweights”. Because there is no way they called those guys. Hell, Iron Mike has been eating at the soup kitchen. He would answer that call for sure.

But with the size difference it looks like if this was a no holds bar Shaq would have torn Mosely to shreds.
Wow what a size difference! haha this is hilarious. Probably better Shaq fought a smaller guy like Shane…I can only see things going the wrong way for Shaq if faced with a HW…even if he does train/has a MMA background.
I just saw this again. Thank god there are weight classes.

I bet if it were anything above 8 rounds mosley woulda easily dominated him in the later rounds. no way shaq has the stamina to compete like that for an extended period of time.
haha in a proper fight between these two you wouldn’t need 8 rounds. You’d need a couple of minutes - only a few would be actual fighting, the rest would be Mosley running around, probably trying to get out of the ring.
define proper fight?..you ever put gloves on and go all out with someone…seems proper enough.
