Thanks Trent. You won’t see any Devil presses in my log anytime soon. I actually quit doing burpees again. My middle toe on my right foot felt like the joint in the middle of it was broken. Took me awhile to figure out what I had done. That kick back on the burpee was the only thing I could figure it would have been. Regardless, that’s my story and I am sticking to it. ![]()
That’s a bummer man. Sounds like some crap that would happen to me… For a few years now I’ve been doing push-ups, burpees, etc. with my toes pointed for similar reasons.

Consider taking a break from leg presses for a bit and see if it helps.
What impresses me is you can do a 15 mile cardio ride one day, then hit the resistance quite hard the next. I would be in traction. I like dropping in and seeing what’s up.
I appreciate it. The bike rides are for the most part not that bad. Mostly just a good cardio session. The actual muscle fatigue in them doesn’t seem like it is really that impactful, though I am sure it does hamper my ability to recover after a leg day.
