Wow! I was thinking nice Smith rows and then scrolled down to the deads! I think 425 is my all time deadlift PR from back in the day (and I will never get anywhere close to that again). Very impressive Shane! And for that matter 5x30 on captain chair is insane! Great job man!
Not surprised my ride wasn’t much further today than in the past. Most my endurance rides I have been riding the top of my zones and even pushing into the next one, which is why I needed a FTP score.
The other power zone rides in higher zones will be more challenging though.
Went bowling last night for my birthday with friends. Had some beers, cake, and good foods.
Today the going out with my family.
After that, the celebrations are over and back to the grind.
If I haven’t been posting my weight, it’s because I am done weighing myself daily. Going to go by the mirror, performance in the gym, how I feel, naval measurement, and on occasion I will weigh in. It’s just a number anyways and if everything else is doing good and moving in the right way it should too.
Going to instead track cals and plan to keep those around 3K per day.
Going to be beautiful today. Time to go do some yardio.
Good looking bike ride yesterday and a nice push session this morning! Glad you were able to get a new FTP test done. I’m sure that will help build that threshold on the bike. Still a good pace. Hope you enjoyed the birthday dinner. I agree on the body weight. I probably weigh myself once per week at this point. I have a weight that I absolutely don’t want to go over (175) but that’s about it. Like you said though, it really comes down to how you feel and how you look. For me, >175 looks fat and I feel slightly worse so my goal is to stay under that.
That FTP test, I actually just tried to beat my last 20 minute PR. The only ride I take that is 20 minutes is the FTP test. LoL. Not sure how it is going to play out on a power zone max ride though.
