Shane's Over 35 Shenanigans

Great job on that ride Shane. I think that’s the same one I did a week or so ago. Good tunes… LOL about the diet. Yeah I guess it would help to measure everything. No way would I have time for that though… Ironically I try to keep my calories at 3,000/day so I must be doing something right…

BTW- I did find a way to invite a friend to do a ride in the Peloton app, Go to the ride you want to do and there is a button with two people and a + sign. Just hit that button and it will take you through the prompts.

Or as @T3hPwnisher would say ‘it’s time to get comfortable being uncomfortable’? Keep at it mate!

Yeah that ride popped up as a suggested ride. I guess it’s because we did that Saturday ride of his. That was only the second ride of his I have done. :+1:

I try to track it all, though loosely considering I eyeball everything right now. I know I am eating more cals than I am tracking and of the food estimated serving sizes I tracked last week I averaged 3500 cals a day. Which is still too much. LoL.

Good stuff on the pairing up. We will have to use that on our big ride. :+1:

Yeah I am having a hard time getting motivated right now. I like food more than a 6 pack. Idk, I need to find another reason I guess.

That’s it. Just going through the motions until I get my elbow drained tomorrow and see what the Dr says.

Stretching is getting better every week though. So at least I have that. :joy:

Last weeks foods.

That’s roughly 3400 cals logged a day. I can bring that down.

Nothing wrong with that session at all. High reps but still respectable sets. My calories were doing fairly well last week until the weekend rolled around. Everyone left cookies, cupcakes, etc. at our house on Saturday night so I was doing my best to finish those off yesterday when the #!$%* girl scouts dropped off the boxes my wife ordered… :rage: Sometimes life is hard…

Thanks Trent!

Sounds like a good weekend man, that even got better when the girl scouts showed up. Hopefully you got some Tagalongs and Samoas.

That looked like a heck of a ride Shane. 45 minutes of HIIT and HIlls will definitely get the blood flowing. Nice pace and output!

Good Lord my legs hurt just from reading that… Heck of a session Shane. I did leg press for the first time in a while yesterday and was grinding out sets of 12 with 2PPS. You’re sitting here doing double the weight and reps. LOL Then some manly squats at the end. Very strong on all of it. Hopefully the hamstring is just a small tweak. Great session!

Thanks Trent.

Good thing for the hamstring it didn’t actually hurt but I felt a niggle on it and realized I shouldn’t do that last set. Finally learning, I guess. LoL.

Nice job brother! Way to get after it this morning! I saw that you were doing that ride when I hopped on the bike at 6:00AM. Almost did this ride with you but decided to be a wuss and take it easy… Solid effort on that one Shane!

Would have been 3000 cals but I ended up eating the whole caesar bag salad instead of half. Still doing better than last week though.

“I don’t know if you heard me counting but I did over a thousand…”

Good session Shane! The biceps are definitely going to be feeling that one. Bench supported DB rows were nice and strong. That was funny about eating the bag of Caesar salad. I don’t think I’ve ever not eaten the entire bag. That stuff is amazing!
