Stomach was all jacked up yesterday so I skipped my leg day. Still not feeling great today. It feels like food poisoning not the flu. Damn cramp like symptoms with nausea. I feel better today but am going to wait another day. Guy at work, my counterpart, went home yesterday with chills and a fever. Wife tested him and he is positive for COVID. Should be an interesting Christmas. My whole work has either a virus, the flu, or COVID. If I work out tomorrow it’s going to be a garage session so I can try to dodge gym people and minimize my exposure to this shit, at least to get through Christmas Day.

Don’t really want to ‘like’ that, but here’s hoping you rest well and heal up for the holiday!

Man, sorry to hear about the stomach crud Shane. As everyone else has said, that and a lot of other things are going around… Heck of a “Do Something” session yesterday. Great pace on that ride!

We ended up driving back home yesterday instead of spending Christmas with my family because my son got sick. So instead of a 2 hour drive I ended up with at 10 hour drive…

Long story but sorry to hear you are under the weather. Sounds like what my sister’s kids have down in FL. Hope you are feeling better soon brother. Merry Christmas regardless. Plenty to be thankful for. :+1:t2:

Good lord Trent. Sorry to hear that man. Wow. Hopefully he is feeling better now. I know that is disappointing, especially with Disney on the agenda. Like you said though, still have plenty to be thankful for.

Well I am still damn sick. Good news though, this just seems to be a damn cold. :joy:

Bad news is, I am not going to drag my ass to workout with it. So here I am, again, doing nothing. I have to get at least one more 35 minute ride in before the New Year to hit my 5k minutes on the Peloton this year so I will definitely at minimum hit that this week.

If you are feeling good and able to do it, hit a set for me this week. :sunglasses:

Thanks. Probably be better just in time for my son to go back to school and bring me back some other kind of crud. :joy:

Sorry to hear about the cold Shane. Resting is probably a good idea though. We push it pretty hard all year long so I’m sure we both need the rest. Both of my kids are sick (colds). I’m feeling OK, but will probably limit exercise to conditioning this week, if anything. You still have 5 days left to get that 35 minutes in. I would keep resting and then in a few days do a low intensity ride and get it done. :+1:t2:

Thanks Trent. Yep, going to take it easy. I took one of those at home Covid tests, just for the hell of it, and yep, I have the Vid. :joy:

I figured it was more than a cold when I realized my actual hair hurt to touch. :joy:
