Shane's Over 35 Shenanigans

Thanks Trent. IDK if that graduation is going to be this year. I might just stick with these 22KG bells throughout the year. These things are not exactly cheap to buy. LoL.

If all goes well I found a steal on a pair of competition 24KG bells, 1 mile from my house, for 220 bucks on FB marketplace . Supposed to pick up tonight. :crossed_fingers:

That would be a hard no for me. :joy:

Great job today Shane. Solid work and I have no clue how you did that KB mile. Sounds like a good way to transport your KB’s home if your truck breaks down on the way back from the store. :joy: Nah, seriously that is super impressive man! Hope you can pick up that pair on FB marketplace! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Thanks Trent. I was surprised to find these. The 24KG bells in the KB community are a standard and I haven’t seen them pop up since I started getting into KBs. The fact they are that close is almost a no brainer.

Haha. It would really suck to carry those home though. Per hand I would go twice the distance. :skull:

Slept in today so no bike. I will walk a lot today to make up for it.

Used the 24KG bells. They were harder but manageable. We will see how they feel on ABCs.

Here is a video of the last round today.

Moving slow this morning.

Man I was hurting just watching that… :face_vomiting: :joy: The video definitely gives it some more tangibility as to how rough that actually is. :exploding_head: That is some seriously impressive work man. I would think the pounds will start falling off pretty quickly if you keep that up. :+1:

As for the KB’s feeling heavy, have you weighed them? I weighed my black iron plates when I bought them and the 45’s weigh about 50 pounds. :face_with_peeking_eye: Congrats on the new KB’s BTW!

I will weigh them tonight. It is just funny how heavy KBs feel when you pick them up. I guess it shouldn’t surprise me, each one of those is heavier than a 45 pound plate. They just feel heavier.

Weighed my new bells. They are dead on 52.8. Accurate to the ounce.

The Titan bells are a little heavier than they should be, not surprising as Titan is known the be a cheaper knock off brand, but at least they are not lighter than expected.

My old 70 pound KB weighed dead on 70 pounds. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

It is amazing how much heavier a 44 lbs. kettlebell weighs when compared to a 40/45 lbs. bag of dog kibble.
