Shane's Over 35 Shenanigans

Haha. Yeah, I don’t drink out of straws either.

I hear you on the nuggets. It is one of the few things I can get my son to eat that has some amount of protein. :upside_down_face:

Man, I hate it when they fill my glass up so much that I HAVE to take the first drink out of the straw so I don’t spill it all over myself.

Only out of my Stanley knock off. This one is really pretty much spill proof for my tea. Other than that… nope, never use a straw.
Jed loves a straw! He just can’t shake the habit.

:joy:. That’s funny. I like drinking flavored stuff. This is one of my favorites.

That’s it. Was going to hit sauna but dude in the sauna was a snotty mess. Sat there listening to him sniff snot and cough for a minute solid and decided to l get out of the confined space with him. Idk why people show up and spread their Ebola at the gym.

Good call getting out of there. I don’t know why people want to spread their germs.
It’s Cedar season here so you don’t know if they are germy or having an allergy attack.

I didn’t stick around to ask. It’s cold season here. Lots of funk going around.

I’m leaving for vacation Saturday. I would rather not be sick before we leave.

Nice looking session Shane! Plenty of good KB work in that one. I hear you on skipping the sauna. I would have done the same thing. This time of year I would almost just workout in the garage if I were going on vacation the following week.

Thanks Trent. Not a bad idea honestly. Might go ahead and do it.

That’s probably the best way to avoid getting sick. Normally when I leave the gym I wash my hands pretty thoroughly and then when I get to my truck I wipe my phone and hands down with sanitizer. I type my sets/reps into my phone so that thing is dirty as a toilet seat when I leave the gym… :poop: :toilet:

Yeah, I do the same thing. Need to be better about it though.

Thursday Cardio

5 minute cool down

Today is our annual chili cookoff at work. I made 2 chilis and like usual I wing it making chili. This time I bought a Smokey chili flavor pack. I used it in my bean chili. Not a fan. Been doctoring it to get it to taste better for a good part of the morning. Going to Hail Mary and stop to buy some more beans to put in it to level it out.

My all meat chili came out good. :+1:

Playing chef cut time out of my workout, so just cardio today.

I don’t think I’ve ever made chili the same way twice. Winging it is fun.

I always wing it too. Usually the same principle but… no measurements. I found this recently and can tell you. DO NOT put it in chili. Not even a 1/2-1 tsp. Just shook a little out. Nope! It smells delicious but there is nothing you can do, to UNDO it

Good luck at the cook off!

Good job on that ride Shane! I almost did that one and opted for Denis’s instead. Solid pace and mucho calories torched. :flexed_biceps: Hope the chili cook off goes well. I’ve never tried to cook chili but usually enjoy it when other people cook it. :face_with_tongue:

Yep. That is pretty much all I have ever done. I will take recipes as suggestions but usually my final chili is a long way off from what recipe I started with.
