Don’t squats effect your shoulder ? Mine were sore as heck just trying to get into position last night, all because I did overhead before squat.
Back when I was running 531 and doing a lot of BB OHP my shoulders hurt to get under the bar, but since I quit doing BB OHP they really don’t bother me.
My shoulder pain is on the front. Most painful movement right now in Incline bench press.

I really am beginning to think my peloton is harder than other pelotons. Not that I really care but every other bike I hop on I can average over 20MPH without much issue.
See Tuesday as an example. These are obviously a little different bikes, that one being a lifefitness, but aimed at same type of clientele. That’s not the first class exercise bike that seems a lot easier than my home bike.
Today was a slog though regardless of what bike I was riding. Felt like I was missing a gear.
Good job on that one Shane! That’s interesting. Maybe you could do a factory reset and I think there is a way to calibrate it too? Just some stuff to try. I think it’s the bike and not you though. ![]()

That’s it. Been awhile since I have done any squats over 5-6 reps. Decided to play around with some 10-12 reps on the smith and treated it like a hack squat. Felt good.
Good looking session Shane! Very strong on those squats and R Deads.
The higher reps definitely hit different. I’m honestly jealous of those bicep curl numbers. I got like 3 reps at 40 lbs earlier this week. ![]()
