Went by Urgent Care, they tested me for all the usual suspects. No flu, no Vid, No strep. Ok so it’s a virus. Went by my pharmacy to pick up what they called in. Z pack. Ok, well a antibiotic isn’t going to do anything to a virus so unless my snot turns green I will bank this for later.
Seems like yesterday morning’s drainage and sore throat was the worst of it. Today is about 50 percent of yesterday’s misery, hopefully that trend continues.
I know few things medical. But I never understood the Z pack strategy for a virus. There might be a legitimate reason?

I touched base with a lot of people from the neighborhood this weekend and almost all of them have had this mild upper respiratory thing where they lose their voice for a day or two. I guess that’s what we have. They all said it is pretty mild but lasts a while. We shall see…
Honestly I don’t know. Pretty sure it’s to help just in case of sinus infection.
That’s pretty much what I got. Sore throat, losing my voice kind of like laryngitis. Still a little stuffy but the sore throat is gone.

Took yesterday off. Body said it was still needing rest so I listened.
Dropped SLDLs and did some lower impact movements as I am not recovering well right now. Specifically my knees. What I am eating probably has something to do with it too though.
Good looking session Shane! Nice and strong on those squats and some very notable heavy/high rep sets on Leg Press. I hear you on the knee pain. I’ve been having some of that too. I was wondering if it had anything to do with the weather changing back and forth from cold to warm and humid.
