I am in my 7th week of IBB. I intend to do your 6 week SGHP specialization program after I complete 10 weeks of IBB. Would you recommend that I do a few weeks of layers work prior to starting the SGHP specialization just to re-acclimate myself with the lift? I have resisted the urge to substitute/add more SGHP in the IBB program and have followed that program as closely as my equipment will allow. As a result, I have had very little SGHP work in the past 7 weeks. Thanks.
“I had one week of “normal” training in Colorado where I did high pulls three times a week before starting the blitz program. I also did some bench pressing and back work.”
From some other sources around the web regarding starting a heavy daily training program – pseudo-Bulgarian style programs and such – I’ve seen at least 2-4 weeks of 3x a week frequency before moving to something like that.
Personally, I wouldn’t jump right into it before doing the SGHPs frequently for a couple weeks.

Thanks…Yeah I should have re-read the article before I posted the question.
I am going to do the original layers program for a couple of weeks before I start it. I was doing SGHP 3x per on it before. I really like the IBB program, but I do miss the SGHP work.
