Is there an alternative mechanism (besides raised estrogen via aromatase from raised testosterone) by which Clomid can cause sexual dysfunction?
I’ve read many anecdotes where guys take clomid, maybe 25 mg eod, their testosterone goes up and their sexual function gets WORSE. Additionally, I’ve read stories where guys get sexual dysfunction from Clomid even when they manage estrogen/estradiol.
What’s going on here? Does Clomid have this effect due to its SERM activity in the brain? Is there some other mechanism?
