Just wondered what everyone’s thoughts where on Seven Seas Extra High Strength Cod Liver Oil (liquid not caps)?
After learning about Flameout (and it’s price), I went scowering the high street for fish oil with a high DHA/EPA concentration, but was dismayed by the pitifull average amounts (around 200mg per severing).
Then I stumbled up this brand which states that per serving it contains 2300mg of DHA/EPA (ratio unknown), and 300ml will set you back only £6.
What do you guys think? Good deal? Is there a catch?

Yeah me too, I tend to get either Salmon oil (high proportion of DHA) or the ‘fish oil’ at ~300mg combined per 1g capsule. 250 is usually about a tenner (i.e. supposedly half price), sometimes you have to by two but usually works out at that. I’ve been on ~10caps a day for quite a while.
Ã?£8.50 for 500ml and per 5ml serving 825mg EPA, 550MG DHA. It’s flavoured too.[/quote]
Sounds like a better deal! Can’t say I’ll miss the fishy breath and subsequently distant girlfriend, that I get with the unflavoured seven seas stuff.
Guess I didn’t realise that a cap is usually around 1 or 2g, so factoring that in, it’s not that highly concentrated.
Any preference on flavour? Strawberry/Orange?

I’ve only tried the strawberry so can’t compare the two, but it is definitely better than fishy breath! It barely has any taste at all, just a mild strawberry-ish aftertaste.
Strawberry or orange flavour, mix with protein shakes.
strawberry goes with anything (really light taste), Orange is great with chocolate flavour protein. absolute DIRT with banana protein - which im stuck with for the next 2 weeks
