That is why Captain America is so significant…once you wear the colors, you represent the whole damn country.

That uniform represents “help” and “safety” to just about every kid in the country. Some 9 year old won’t give a shit what PRECINCT a cop is from if they act like a dick.

Once that uniform goes on, they represent every cop in the country…and anyone giving a pass to some of them simply because they are the “good ones” even though they blatantly take up for and hide the bad ones is a little lost.

The whole system needs an overhaul before we hit Judge Dredd territory.
