I have been drug tested at least 4 times a year for the last 3 years , the reason given was “RANDOM” Lacking a reason would be unreasonable

I’m not seeing how drug testing = corporations controlling you. My current job required one and my last job did not. So if you have a problem with being drug tested you can seek employment elsewhere, right?
I don’t know to what extent employers pull credit scores, but again I don’t see how them pulling your score = control. Being poor does not = having a low credit rating. Being rich does not = a high credit rating. It is actually one area where the playing field is fairly level.
I won’t argue it’s not an invasion of privacy, I agree there, but these aren’t examples of corps “controlling” us.
And I know no one is forcing me to work
EYE ROLL

That’s your company. Since I got out of the military I’ve been piss tested once, for my current job (have had 3).
I thought you were self employed?
Do you operate heavy machinery or is the company required by law to drug test you?

The reason it’s “random” is because they randomly select employees to be screened. That’s how we (usmc) made sure no single Marine was singled out in a command because the is illegal as far as I know.

Our Corporations pay to get our Government officials elected and in return get laws passed that benefit the Corporate sponsors
[/quote]
They don’t force anyone to vote for those elected. Am I correct in saying that your real problem is with government, not corporations(definition: A company or group of people authorized to act as a single entity (legally a person) and recognized as such in law.)?

I don’t know what to tell you except that in most states it is illegal to smoke weed in the U.S. Sounds like a legal problem not an employment problem.
Your example is also a bit unreasonable. How often do you go to Amsterdam, once every 10 years?

The reason is it’s a RANDOM drug screening. That is the reason.
I have been with 4 companies in 3 years and will be changing in 2 to 3 months
^ Pitt they can’t just drug test you anytime they want to that would be discrimination. That is why they randomly select a certain % to be “randomly” tested. To make sure most people are following the rules. They could require a companywide piss test where everyone is required to take the test as well.

Is weed illegal in the state you live in/your employer is located in? If so, unfortunately you are bound by their laws. Honestly I feel for you because I’m in a similar boat just for different reasons. I wanted to buy an AR-15 this year, but since I live in MD I can’t. That’s just how it is. If it’s that big a deal for me, I’d move, and I might.

Is your decision to allow certain people in your home not arbitrary, do you allow everyone access? In addition, it’s not an unreasonable search. It is neither an invasion of privacy nor an unreasonable search, it something to which you consent.
