Selling Textbooks

anyone know any good websites or stores where i can sell my college text books for a good chunk of change. Right now the University of Arizona bookstore is only giving me about $2-$4 per book. Can’t even eat on that.

Amazon man. That or half.com but I usually just use Amazon.

Downside is someone might not buy them until the start of next semester when they need it.

Why not sell them to other students yourself? At least that’s what they do at my school.

Print out a couple of ads with your contact info and the books your selling, and their condition and stuff. Hell, find out the room/lecture halls of the classes that require the books that you have and put the ads near there, or if there’s a common place for ads like that [I think there is at my school] put them there.

Just a heads up, the reason why bookstores buy books back for absurdly low prices is because they are either changing to a new book or a new edition.

I know a lot of people who’ve had problems because they had a previous edition of a book and the equations/problems are different. Then again, I’m an engineer… Equations and problems are pretty important.
