Seeking DOMS?

I purchased one of those foam rollers coach Cressy talks about last year. Anybody who actually likes DOMS will love this. The pain the first two weeks or so is brutal. After that it’s not so bad.The mind muscle connection goes up a notch IHOP.It’s an acquired taste thats for sure.Anybody else try one of these?

As for some people who don’t get any your not alone.A friend of mine who does not train very often at all never get’s it.We went Snowboarding a while ago and I let him try my spare board out,he was on it all day and the next day nothing,no DOMS at all.His leg’s should have been fucked.I don’t get it.The dude can also pound back the booze and never has a hangover…ever.Prick.

Eccentrics and muscular reinforcement are the things that may cause DOMS. Both of them seem good for hypertrophy, however I would put greater emphasis on progressive overload.

How are you looking with your stats? You must be really lean to have a decent build. If you’re not lean, you should probably worrying about something else.

You aren’t getting DOMS in your back because you are too small. You don’t have a mind-muscle connection with your back muscles and you don’t work on your back exercises enough.

You sir, are an idiot.

Actually, you are.

If he cant FEEL the muscles he is working in his back, there is a chance that he is (for example) rowing with his arms and lower back and his mid back and lats are only marginally involved.

As Dave Tate says, if you cant flex it, you shouldnt be isolating it.

Well I didn’t say I couldn’t feel them working, I said I couldn’t get DOMS there.

Apparently I missed the part where he stated that he can’t feel the muscles he is working in his back. It sounded as if he needs a shit ton of (25+ sets) to acheive DOMS.

If that’s the case, I certainly agree.
