I didn’t know that about eggs. How long can one eat eggs before having to stay off them for 6-8 weeks again? Just till you get symptoms I’m guessing?
I was thinking of adding another shake and maybe a sandwich or two. I read last night about ezekial bread. Sounds like good stuff. If I could have sandwiches again I could eat more meat which is ideal.
Aside from that was thinking of adding frozen strawberries and coconut oil to those shakes. And maybe some cashews to mix wil my almonds and raisins.
Pretty much as you said, so until you get symptoms. I’d keep a log of when wthey appear and stop a bit before that
So if it takes you (on average) 20 weeks to get symptoms, I’d stop during week 19
Regarding the replacement, I’d go with something that has a lot of protein and fat (like eggs) but you need to remember that eggs contain various micronutrients along with the protein and fat
Really? My calculations (based off of reading the labels and weighing the food) came out to be higher.
Having said that, I’ve added more stuff because I’m definitely seeing weight loss.
It’s hard to find foods that I can eat and that are worth it in terms of calories and/or protein and time to prepare/eat. I’m mostly eating more nuts and milk.
Protein powder: 30 grams per scoop, on the high end
Black beans: 14 grams/cup
Brown (I assumed pinto) beans: 7 grams per cup
1 can of tuna: this varies but the largest can I’ve seen sold other than commercial variants has 33 grams of protein in a can
So, 112 assuming certain things in your favor. Seems low.
In all reality you should put more effort into cooking. If you won’t, then eating the tuna/bean/rice meal 3 times a day and reducing to 2 shakes without the eggs could be sufficient.
I don’t have a stove, so cookiung is out of the question. I’ll re-work the numbers today and post my complete diet as soon as I can. Really busy these days however. Another reason why cooking is out of the question.
If you truly feel that cooking is out of the question; training, progressing, posting on forums, watching/participating any sort of media, and any sleep past 4 hours should be out of the question as well.
Cars cannot run without gas. Using poor quality fuel and not keeping upon basic maitence will cause issues with the performance of the vehicle.
Training doesn’t need to be a priority for you. Neither does diet. But if you ever ask about how to improve, the diet will be the first place most point.
I’m trying to mitigate diary (yeah I know, 5 cups a day isn’t mitigating. it’s the best I could do)
It’s cheap
As for salt, my grandpa actually had to get a opacemaker because his heart was giving out. Too much sodium they told him. So I’m not taking any chances.
You’re in the uk? If so it could be because you guys have to import them maybe? I dunno. I live in canada.
Yeah it’;s crazy. My grandpa got very frail but after his operation he’s like back 100%. I can’t even tell he went through that. It’s amazing what they can do with medical technology for people.
And yeah, I prefer to play it safe, especially with heart stuff.
