Do you eat them? How do you eat them and what with? I have had two tins of sardines in spicy olive oil and 3/4’s of a cup of bulgur wheat right out of the rice cooker and it was so GOOD! I think that meal alone had about 57 grams of protein and even though those tins are small - it packs a substansial amount of fish.

My mom used to make my siblings and I swim laps in the apartment pool and jump out at the end of each lap to catch a sardine with our mouth like an orca or something.
The bones sound extra crunchy underwater.
I eat the water packed one from Trader Joes out of the tin. I use chopsticks, to keep my hands from smelling fishy.
I don’t eat sardines, but this is one of the funniest things I’ve read on here in some time.
Thats an odd way to eat them. I tend to enjoy filling a bucket with them, tipping it out on the kitchen floor with my nose and roll in them while I throw the odd one up with my mouth and catch it again. Most of my relations eat them the same way.

I drain most of the olive oil and then sprinkle them with grated parmesan cheese, top with Siracha and eat them straight out of the can
