I don’t jump completely over, I just touch the box top with my jumping foot as I land on the other

Jump on the box, jump off the box and try to bounce back up. Who knew this required a minimal amount of skill. I actually missed a couple of times.

Holy smokes felt strong tonight.

I learned to read suddenly and discovered I’ve been half-dosing my creatine. Where I should have been using 2 tbsp I’ve been using 1, because I didn’t look the the measuring spoon closely enough and have been using the 1/2 tbsp measurer. Might have made the difference tonight since I dosed correctly..

Raining PR’s in here… :cloud_with_rain: :flexed_biceps: Glad you got the creatine figured out. Mine just comes with a scoop and says one full scoop is 5 grams (I’m pretty sure at least). So that’s what I take each day.

I have been taking it every day and I’ve noticed nothing from it.

After my discovery that I was under-dosing last night, I’m hoping the professed cognitive gains and energy reserves will manifest soon.

I’m hoping for this too.

I used these Versa-grip-like things for the upright rows last night. They made a big difference in upper back stimulation in that I can concentrate on pulling instead of holding on to the bar. I have really skinny wrists for a man and I get nerve twangs into my hands if the bar gets above a certain height, so I’m always being careful. These grips let me just pull the bar up and with some amount of force.

Upper back is nicely sore for the first time since starting upright rows.

They’re a pain to get on though, so I think I’ll just use my ironmind straps to do these from now on.

First snow of the year. Didn’t want to walk to the gym in the cold. Didn’t want to do deadlifts. Didn’t want to squat.

But I wasn’t going to be a quitter. I made me mad so I put extra reps on things.

That’s a lot of reps at 400 on deads and 240 on squats.

It was miserable. But that’s what the program called for.

This is the last week of base-building and then it moves into the strength block. I think I’m set up to do well if I can keep food and recovery on point, particularly since I’m already PRing rep maxes.
