I learned to read suddenly and discovered Iāve been half-dosing my creatine. Where I should have been using 2 tbsp Iāve been using 1, because I didnāt look the the measuring spoon closely enough and have been using the 1/2 tbsp measurer. Might have made the difference tonight since I dosed correctly..

Glad you got the creatine figured out. Mine just comes with a scoop and says one full scoop is 5 grams (Iām pretty sure at least). So thatās what I take each day.
I have been taking it every day and Iāve noticed nothing from it.
After my discovery that I was under-dosing last night, Iām hoping the professed cognitive gains and energy reserves will manifest soon.

Iām hoping for this too.
I used these Versa-grip-like things for the upright rows last night. They made a big difference in upper back stimulation in that I can concentrate on pulling instead of holding on to the bar. I have really skinny wrists for a man and I get nerve twangs into my hands if the bar gets above a certain height, so Iām always being careful. These grips let me just pull the bar up and with some amount of force.
Upper back is nicely sore for the first time since starting upright rows.
Theyāre a pain to get on though, so I think Iāll just use my ironmind straps to do these from now on.

First snow of the year. Didnāt want to walk to the gym in the cold. Didnāt want to do deadlifts. Didnāt want to squat.
But I wasnāt going to be a quitter. I made me mad so I put extra reps on things.
Thatās a lot of reps at 400 on deads and 240 on squats.
It was miserable. But thatās what the program called for.
This is the last week of base-building and then it moves into the strength block. I think Iām set up to do well if I can keep food and recovery on point, particularly since Iām already PRing rep maxes.
I could see how that would have been miserable. Basebuilding sounds about right.
