Hello hamstrings!

Hips were pretty spiky after the first round of squats. Made the second round really hard. Hope I adapt, or it’s going to be a fight. The weights don’t feel too heavy, they just hurt.

I’m going to stop pushing the plus set on squat days and deadlift days. If motivated, I can hit more reps than I can recover from. Not a good long term strategy.

I may stop hitting the plus sets hard everywhere in fact. Less to recover from and the straight sets are pretty stimulating as it is.

Not a bad idea. Getting stronger is addictive, but it can lead to setbacks.
