No person or group of people possesses only admirable qualities. Nobody said or implied that. We’re talking about a specific state of mind that consistently wishes violence and ill on the persons and families of their political opposition.

The left is one thousand times guiltier of this than the right. There is like no denying that.

It’s more than just implied, Tiribulus; you just stated it!

Just because you may not travel in Conservative circles where the wish of violence and death against Obama is not commonplace and even preached, doesn’t all of sudden mean it doesn’t exist.

Mufasa

Show me where I placed “only admirable qualities” on anybody.
C’mon, Tiribulus.

After, what, almost two or so years of “knowing” each other (in an Internet Sense); you’ve never been one to play word games.

If the Left wishes violence and ill-will on the persons and families of their political opposition (the Right)…by magnitudes of degree…then by implication (that’s how implication works); the right is a more “admirable” group.

Somehow I doubt that you have a list of beliefs where the “Left” is “better” than the “Right”.

Mufasa

Is this because that baseball player fucked her daughter or whatever?

Oh I definitely view the right as more admirable than the left, but that’s not what you said. You said “ONLY admirable qualities”. I may not view all individual liberals the same, but I do view atheistic, collectivist liberalISM as a putrefying corrosive cancer on this nation.

I declare that without the slightest equivocation, but that position precludes by definition any right on my part to wish personal harm on my opposition and especially their families.

Truth be told, as a person I like Obama. He has an infectious laugh, I find myself smiling when he’s chuckling about something. He seems like somebody I would actually get along with on a personal level.

There are other politicians I really cannot stand the sight of, I confess that, but I still would never publicly call for them to be harmed or that misfortune would befall their families. Hypocritical? Possibly, but I’m only human and I’ve already denied that anybody, including myself, possesses only admirable qualities.

Yes, there is a bunch of denying that, because it seems like you’re basing it on the shit that I say, which is obviously more inflammatory then what you guys tend to say.

And again, I don’t wish violence or ill will on anyone, even you cocksuckers that I’ve sat here and argued with for nearly half a decade.

Anyway, I’m going to go have a bajillion beers and celebrate America’s birthday because contrary to what you might think, I love this place too. Quite a bit… I could see those massive fireworks going off over the Hudson tonight while the Empire State was bathed in red, white and blue, and it truly was a gorgeous, awe-inspiring sight.

I truly believe that the founders of the country would be enthralled that there is such a fiery political discussion going on that encompasses all sides of the political spectrum, and that it happens on the eve of the nation’s birthday. I think that’s exactly what they were aiming for.

Happy fourth you fascist bastards.

You already started on those beers didn’t ya =]

Uh-huh. And of course you have some documentation from a credible source with certified scores from valid intelligent tests (e.g. Stanford-Binet, WISC, Woodcock-Johnson) administered by a qualified test proctor for both presidents, right?

Yeah, I didn’t think so.

Obama totally has a higher IQ than Bush. In fact, Obama’s IQ is, like, sixteen-bajillion or something like that. True story.

Yes. Unlike many, I get both more cordial and more eloquent when inebriated.

It’s probably the only reason I’m not in jail.

Fair enough, Tiribulus!

I don’t know what you tend to make of me; but I think we agree on more things than we disagree on. (Like our love for our favorite Senator above! LOL! I thought the Flag was a nice touch. You can download it and have Kinko’s blow it up for you, 'ya know! ).

By the way; out of curiosity; who’s more admirable; the Shum-ster…or Pelosi???

LOL!

Mufasa

Ooops!

The pic didn’t post!

You just wanted to get that in there twice didin’t ya?

Schumer occupies an unchallenged level of personified prevaricating foulness all his own.

Too bad you don’t get more accurate =] I wasn’t even referring primarily to you, but that’s OK, have fun anyway.

Jail sucks.

You’re every bit of a fundamentalist in your own right. And “purvey more hate and anger”? Ha! Your posts here are living, breathing proof of who the hate and anger purveyor is. How laughably hypocritical.
I take politics seriously, but I am far from a “fundamentalist” Democrat, if you’d like to call it that. I’m pro-gun and pro-death penalty… both very un-Democratic stances. However, I don’t believe or disbelieve in those stances because some cleric in a turban or pope in a pointy hat tells me too. I also don’t let some 2,000 year old novel born of the ink of mens’ quills dictate to me what my belief system is.

You see what I throw on this forum, but that’s it. Don’t presume to know me from the crap I put up on here. I’m no purveyor of hate, just a guy who says exactly what he means.

I don’t want to bring the adulterer stuff into the conversation because I truly have no problem with how you or your wife choose to conduct your relationship, but Pookie does bring up the valid-sounding point that it’s strange that a guy who takes the Bible literally enough to think the Earth is 6,000 years old bangs other broads while married. You want to talk about hypocrites? Looking to NJ may be looking a bit too far.

No, I don’t think so. I have said quite a few times that I think there’s very likely a God of some type. However, the weak minded pussies that blow themselves up over abortion clinics and World Trade Centers need a little bit of schooling about logic.

Say what you want, but I’m not the one grasping at straws to try and prove, against all the evidence humanity has gathered in its time here on Earth, that your Magic (Christian) Space God created the planet in six days, speaks through burning bushes, turns people into pillars of salt, and managed to fit all the animals of the world into a magic ark.

Fuck Push, go answer the door, I think Santa Claus just knocked up the tooth fairy and she’s looking for a manger.

Nah, I wasn’t referencing anyone on here. I meant more like the populace in general after a couple dozen Jamesons.

shes one of the worst managed politicians ever. these douches spend a lot of time getting a good handler to keep them in line and keep them from saying dumb things. couric needed a head to cut, palin should have avoided that interview. also, when your interviewer has a better grasp on history and language than you, thats another good sign to avoid it. do a press conference, only talk about what you need to say, that way its much harder for your speech to get chopped up and turned on you.

but w.e., Alaska is glad shes gone. Its all water under the bridge to nowhere for them. At least they have some hope of getting a true fiscal conservative in office for them instead of a liar.

best rack in politics imo. will miss them.

PB:

This is the very point that STILL has me scratching my head.

After carefully keeping Palin on the stump and off the news…why do the Couric interview?

Or did the McCain camp limit her media exposure AFTER the interview? (I can’t recall).

Was the decision to limit her exposure going to happen anyway because of how she was upstaging McCain?

Yeah…its all over…but with her sudden resignation, I find myself asking these questions again.

I think that she was just too “real” for Washington (and apparently Alaskan) politics…and I say that as a compliment to her.

Mufasa

Palin s hated and vilified by the Democrats and their fellow travelers in the media. She is vilified for one reason. A majority of people would elect her over every single Democratic candidate, including Obama. Therefore she must be destroyed.

If she runs, and I think she will, she defeat the Democratic candidate in 2012. If for no other reason than the country will be in a middle of a depression by then, but will have money for national health care and the carbon tax. We’ll be paying other countries for their oil but making sure ours sits in the ground. Our allies will hate us and our enemies will mock us.

I’ve said before, the backlash against the Democratic politburo is building and it is going to be substantial.
