Safe, Progressive and Focused Inroad

A Max Step Pyramid, if you will.

If the weight got too heavy for you then you could offload it on me, i could take the strain. Even if the path to the van was blocked I could offroad it over the front garden. I would even help unload it at the other end.

By adding 40lbs per year, within 3 years you’ll be able to not move 650kg.

I don’t really have those 3 years to commit I’m afraid. As soon as I didn’t lift that 600kg, Eddie Hall challenged me to a boxing match so I’ll be mostly doing 20 rep squats to prepare.

My strength is immense, but is irrelevant to anyone but myself.

Additionally, my stature does put me near the top of human capability

thank you, ā€œseven steppesā€ wat u mean by that?

There’s the largest one in Central Asia (where the mongols come from), one around turkey, one in the mediterranian region, one near india, one around the deserts in australia and apparently most of western Texas counts too.

idk where the 7th one is

This is hysterical; especially when he replies to himself!

I feel like this should be acknowledged.

This is why I can’t go too long without checking back in on things.

Antarctica. Why does everybody forget about this?

It’s Cthulhu’s lair for goodness sake. It’s pretty important.

Antarctica is actually considered a desert. Not enough percipitation to be considered a proper ā€œsteppeā€

See that?!? Even the weather forgets about it.

Totally missed that one! Laughed out loud

@planet_healh I would like to have a safe and focused road to build muscle. Do you offer personal training

This protocol is so simple that a trainer is not required. Even a caveman could do it.

I like threads like this. I can skip all the stupid horseshit that the clueless troll writes and catch the highlights in the funny comments.

I am looking forward to my next session which will be the last session in which I do Three Compound (aka major) Muscle Group exercises. My recovery time either must be extended or volume must be reduced. Typically, I will reduce volume to stay (for awhile) on a weekly prescription.

When I reduce a major exercise compound muscle group event I will replace it with a ā€œsingle jointā€ exercise such as Back Extension. So here is my plan for the following Sunday …
Pulldown Max Pyramid
Chest Press Max Pyramid
Back Extension 303030 and likely finish with a 6060 as I find this exercise’s weight threshold.

To address a key point of cognition. The weighted load that I apply via Max Pyramid is much more difficult and intense than any squat since it applies the load intensely directionally focused into the main muscle group/chain of my legs. This includes feet, calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes and lower back. I also want to point out a key feature of this exercise which further assures near zero to zero outroading/offloading … keep your hands lightly crossed on top of your head with relaxed zero tension.

A Leg Press is precision done in this Max Pyramid fashion, and will allow gains to be had. A squat, on the other hand, is an offloading disaster, a CNS mess, and impossible to effectively measure. Recall what I implied above. This Leg Press is far superior to any squat motion exercise … imagine 140 seconds of incredible load locked into a static hold without wavering, heaving, crashing, resting, …
