Rice of awesome.

When I was young I was afraid of rice. I had a rattle that was full of rice that broke and I thought rice was sleeping maggots.

Agreed it is awesome. Very versitle as well. Can be made with pasta sauce, salsa, variouis other sauces from a slow cooker, with various protien powders for pro pudding. Great stuff

That sounds tramatic

Legs today in Osceola, letme know if you would like to join… If not cool just wanted to let you know i am running an expieriment with the diet i did for only a week. Did a week of 2 days on 1 off and lost 3 lbs, probably just water weight, but as we both know i have no will power to do a extended diet[/quote]

I will be there doing shoulder and traps. I will have to roll bounce earlier today. I have to be out by 625 at the latest. Have to go pick a desk up for the house. You should try and leave early enough to miss the bridge today. Always fun to experiment with the diet

Dang, that must be cooked rice, but even still that is a decent amount.

11 cups cooked would be about 3.5 cups uncooked. (My experience is 1 cup uncooked to 3 cups cooked)

I currently eat about 3 cups uncooked per day, but he also eats a bagal, 2 cups of oats and a TON more meat than I do…no wonder I am small, lol.

I eat close to the same as you as my every day base of carbs then add in what i am feeling depending on the day, delicous french bread, oatmeal, english muffins, low fat ice cream, cereal…what ever i want to fill in my carb alotment for the day. SOmetimes its just more rice because i love it. I probablyk get in 2lbs of meat as well a day.

No doubt, he just about doubles me in size, lol.

Lol yep he is 1.5 of me. Jeez.

Anyone have any ideas for curing some pain…I am getting pain on the lateral side of my glute when seated and extending my leg at my knee. So the hip is in flexion, which is fine but when i extend at the at the knee it hurts. I have been foam rolling it but nothign is really happening. Not even sure what “it” is that is hurting. Must be somethign that connects the two joints

As touched on previously very good workout. Going in on just terribly low sleep for the last week and a hlaf. Felt not good going in but i had it in my head that i was going to PR today so got my mind right once i was in the gym and got after it. I have been not belting up until my back decides to get ugly and today it was just as happy as can be. So i never put on my belt. Thats great. Being able to set a 3 rep Pr then come back and add a rep for a 4 rep Pr on the next wave then hit a 2 rep PR in that wave as well was pretty good. My legs had a third rep but abs and lower back did not. Big strong guys what do you do to bring that up to snuff? Rest of the workout was great loved every second. ANd really loved the pools of sweat i left everywhere lol

Congrats on PRs, good stuff here.

Thanks was fairly happy. Want more though. Never satisfied.

Stretcher: 108x6x6-8

20min walk then home

Did yard work for a bit today. Then wanted to experiment with a movment for back then did a couple sets of biceps.

8 sled drags of 40yd 2 drags of 50yd.

Trap bar rows: 135x5x15 225x4x5(explosive dead stop)

BB curls: 8 sets of 10

20min easy on elyptical

Well workout was decent. I hate pullups. But you are supposed to do what you hate right. Got one extra rep on the pause that is all fuck. BB rows felt great. Good contraction and lower back cooperated. DB rows was gonna go for anoter set but didnt empty my digestive system this morning like normal (work got in the way). So was gassy and bloated and the thought of the belt pushing on my for 25-30 more reps per arm was not enticing. THe rest of the 1st back session was great. Awesome feel. Going slower on the eccentric so technically these reps are harder. I think that is a great way to progress on back movemnts.

The trap bar rows are great. Just pick the trap bar up and get in position for a normal row and go to down. Bring the elbows back and squeeze lats/shoulder blads. Feelsgood!! LIke the dead stop version a lot as well. Gonna do more of these. Curls were well curls. Dat bicep pump for da ladiez.

Getting quite addicted to this eat shit tons of food get softer but get strong each workout. This is bad lol. Just one more reason to justify my fluff.

Your workouts always seem legitimately fun. lol

How long are your workouts?

Spidey: I love my workouts. Other than the pullups lol. Back today was done in 75 most of the when i do 2 parts are 2hrs long not counting cool down walking

As an aside another quoate post from Dante
"–he knows he needs to bump this up to gain and bump that down if needed—its a very very tough line to ride because if you dont give a little when trying to gain muscle mass because your so scared of putting on bodyfat–here is the 100% truth–UNLESS YOUR BLACK OR YOUR GENETICS ARE UP THERE ON THE ELITE SCALE (.0001%)YOUR NEVER GOING TO BE THE BIG BOY ON THE BLOCK IF YOU DONT GIVE A LITTLE TO GET A LITTLE. If I could count the bodybuilders in this world that are stuck in that 200-220lb area it would be astronomical. And they want to so badly to be 250 260 270lbs of monstrousity but almost every single one of them will be gaining that 2lbs this year, 2 lbs next year, and so on and 5 years from now they will now weigh 212lbs. In my eyes if your a bodybuilder trying to put on muscle mass, you just waisted 5 growing years that youll never get back. "

funny cos its true. goddamn phil heath genetics left right and centre

He does provide some lolz with how he doesnt sugar coat things.

More Dante for anyone interested. Let me know if this is bothering and/or helping anyone. Helps me i know

"He essentially would become a human blast furnace. That would be the fastest way to make a 175lb natural guy a lean 250lb bodybuilder.

Can most people do that? No, its very time consuming, and incredibly hard to do consistently. People dont think in a certain context. Lets say someone weighs 175lbs and they want to be 250lbs someday (hopefully quick)—If they didnt lift, didnt do cardio and just ate huge amounts of food just so the scale shows 250lbs how long would it take to get up that 75lbs? It would take a long time.

In my eyes, if you did it in one year that would be pretty incredible. AND THATS JUST PURE BODYFAT! Just think of the extremes you would have to go thru to do that same trick muscularly. Theres no way in hell you could even get close to putting on 75lbs of muscle naturally in a year unless you had “top of the line” genetics.

I just like people to understand how hard it is to put on a great deal of muscle mass and how you have to “push the envelope” in eating, training and cardio to get there. Not to put down the E**** website but Ive noticed alot of people there are long time lifters 25-40 years old who have been lifting for 5-20 years. And 95% of them are in that 175lb to 215lb range still to this day. They want to make it happen but for some reason they believe they will hook on to something magical after 10 years and take off. But it never happens.

Many have no clue whatsoever of the lengths someone needs to go thru to get extreme muscle mass. (mostly foodwise)–I hope some of the guys reading this paragraph think about themselves during this. Do you want to be one of those guys 10 years from now that are still the “normal” guys in the gym? The same guys year after year that look the same? Four years ago they were 192lbs and now they are 196lbs. Personally I couldnt live with that. I couldnt do 156 workouts a year for one LB of muscle–thats a waste of freaking time…"
