Selling the $80 billion worth of arms? Trump is by no means exceptional in this regard, all POTUSes approved massive arms sales to the RSA who actually organized the 9/11 attacks. I’m use you’re equally worried about that.
FYI this exchange on Elon’s soon to be Truth Social is perfect encapsulation of the issue. A Russian dude is boasting on line how his master is merciful and some guy from the US is aghast how people do not value basic freedoms, not understanding that Russians perceive slavishness as virtue.
And that’s why Russians hate Ukraine, because they don’t want to be literal slaves like the Russians are and therefore implicitly position themselves as “better” than them.

When I was a kid…
Parents would tell us “Eat your green beans. There are kids in Cambodia that are dying and would love to have those.”
To which my kid mind would respond “I dont give a shit about some kid in Cambodia! Send him these greenbeans!”.
But now we’re those kids all grown up going "There! I’m the adult now and nobody can tell me… [eat anything, gender identity, belief system, other contemporary hot button issue here].
We have society wide obstinance/defiance disorder.

Anyone who supports this war is not of the left. Many people perceived to be on the left may support it. But they are merely masquerading as progressives. They are being outflanked on the left from buffoons like MTG etc…

The words you are quoting are from a sarcastic post in which I parodied people who meaninglessly virtue-signal about supporting Ukraine while sacrificing nothing. It wasn’t my intention for people to interpret that as a serious commentary on the war situation, but here we are.
