Russian Military Buildup Outside Ukraine

But yet you follow people(mainstream economists) who have been wrong for decades. But you still believe them. With no alternative beliefs, just keep believing the people who are wrong at almost every turn. This is your evidence. Man, piss off!

What does this have to do with macroeconomics?

Vanity? Lmao what?

Are you having trouble with definitions of words again?

  1. My standards are not that low.
  2. There is not enough glass in the world or universe to make that possible.
  3. I don’t associate with commies.

You typically like to brag about yourself and how successful you are. You also like to talk about your toys and wealth. It’s usually me, me, me. You worship at the alter of self and material things. Maybe it is you who doesn’t understand the word vanity.

Yeah, so clever. I’m devastated.

Let me explain how I know you are retarded.

You used vanity in the context of mirrors which implies I care about how people think I look physically. If you were talking about a more general vanity meaning you should have not used mirrors to follow up your claim of vanity.

You really are fucking stupid and it explains why you are poor and have achieved absolutely nothing while being well passed middle age.

Sucks to suck at the easiest things of life doesn’t it?

Just a little reminder to everyone that this is Politics and World Issues not Personal and Family Insults.

Politics these days imply personal and family insults I thought.

His momma so fat that she qualifies as Geo-Political Conflict, which therefore means she deserves to be discussed in PWI…

I’m sorry. I have nothing against Castoli’s mom other than her letting Castoli live in her basement as a full-grown adult… I have no ill feelings towards her.

Don’t ban me plz

It’s worth discussing major types of visceral hatred towards Ukraine, Zelensky and Ukrainians in general:

The first one comes from Russians, because the khokhols, supposedly racially inferior, childish, lazy and shifty Little Russian simpletons are showing the Russians that they’re pathetic slaves. Don’t get we wrong, Russians, even the richest ones, already knew that they’re slaves - it’s just that they liked to believe they’re serving an all-powerful master and therefore in their mind submission, suffering and general cowardice are the only option. And yet, the remove all that pomp and their master is actually weak and incompetent. All that humiliation, all that groveling only to live under a crumbling fascist dictatorship whose two main henchmen are a sex offender turned hot dog vendor and a fat, coked out ISIS midget. And the more Ukrainians fight for supposedly unattainable ideals such as ā€œfreedomā€ the more Russians hate them because it lays bare their pathetic bargain - having sold themselves to the Tsar for almost nothing.

The second group is are the alt-right - they hate Ukraine for shattering their masturbatory myth of the American Collapse and the Great White Savior from the Great East, a semi-mystical land of evergreen forests, hard men who down vodka by the glass, where allegedly ā€œJudeo-Christian valuesā€ are respected, women are hot and know when to shut the fuck up and one can say whatever they want. The Savior will rise up, lead both his internet and real armies, and in a nuclear backed offensive defend the definition of a woman and destroy the pathetically weak liberals - from overpaid Twitter employees to Sleepy Joe and his drug addled son.

Instead, there isn’t a Great Savior in the East, the modern-day Prester John. All that hardware shown on parades that should have cut through the ranks of weak, rainbow friendly soldiers paralyzed by inefficient government and sensitivity training did not exist, nor the supposedly tough manly men who were meant to operate it.

And after nine months what’s left of the make-believe army are thousands upon thousands of drunk men wearing old Iranian gear and counterfeit Chinese armor shuddering in the cold waiting to either being raped by Chechen jihadis supposedly fighting on their side or dying by 30+ year old weapons systems sent by the degenerate West.

Whoa dude, haven’t seen you in a while.

I don’t care about Russia or the Ukraine.

We shouldn’t be helping or spending money for either.

The Ukraine has been a corrupt training grounds for politicians kids and friends for a long time. As well as being a money laundering state for politicians.

Look no further than the recent FTX debacle.

Our own state department had them listed under Obama as being a financially corrupt state that couldn’t be trusted and that did nothing to combat financial corruption.

For me it has nothing to do with the Russians think or how this hurts the alt-right. We have zero business interfering and have plenty of things to spend money on at home.

Like you know our out of control debt.

I rarely come here, I’m involved in various relief work for Ukraine and mostly stick to blindly following the routines of the bald, bearded Glaswegian to preserve my sanity.

You should because the Russian political elite genuinely believe that they are at war with the US.

ā€œDon’t caringā€ works only if the other side doesn’t care as well. Otherwise it works as well as yelling ā€œI don’t any want troubleā€ in a sketchy neighborhood.

Yes, that’s why they organized the revolution in 2014, to get rid themselves of the corrupt fuckers.

No one could point the country on the map ten years ago and now bad faith actors are trying to rewrite history to somehow include Hunter Biden being single handedly responsible for all evens in Eastern Europe in the last thirty years.

But did they actually rid themselves of the corrupt actors? The whole FTX thing really seems to highlight some… inproprieties… in Ukraine’s business/political dealings.

What exactly did they do? I’m being serious. I’m asking for more details that the ā€œBiden gave money to Ukraine, Ukraine invested in FTX; FTX gave it back to the Demsā€, because the mantra is word-for-word a Russian psyop (remember biolabs and ā€œonly 30% aids get deliveredā€ that ended up being proven fake?) for Tucker and MAGA mouthpieces to weaken American resolve.

Russia is getting their asses kicked and besides North Korea, Iran and to a lesser extent India, they only have MTG and Tucker.

Here’s a question - did the US send billions in cash to Ukraine to be ostensibly stolen via crypto, or did they send actual military hardware worth that much, itemized in publicly available lists? What do you think?

This made me chuckle because he’s a crackhead. He’s definitely a piece of shit, but yeah.

I don’t think the blame falls to one political party. They both suck ass and are corrupt to the core.

Russia thinking they are at war with the US is irrelevant. They can’t even beat the Ukraine.

This has had me perplexed for a while. I always thought the alt-right were ultranationalists, and now that we have a chance to help crush one of our biggest adversaries they are defending the enemy.

American resolve against what exactly? Russia taking the Ukraine which isn’t in NATO?

Still not understanding why we should care other than financial reasons or to be world police.

That’s the feature of free societies. They’re perceived more as being more corrupt than autocracies because they’re much more transparent. I’m not saying that Rs and Ds are not corrupt, but it’s child’s play compared to the vast majority of other countries.

This is an example of how a low probability outcome is now considered ā€œinevitableā€. The almost complete consensus nine months ago was that the ā€œspectacularly corrupt countryā€ would fold in 72 hours and that the Russian juggernaut was unstoppable. The US Embassy in Kyiv burned all their papers before the invasion expecting the country to be run over in a matter of hours.

And all that is thank to Ukrainian resolve against overwhelming odds and tens and tens of thousands of deaths they’ve incurred so far and are still incurring.

If the Russians actually did pull it off they’d get around 40 million people to turn into a North Korea-style colony that would be a source of cannon fodder either for Chechen ISIS or Wagner’s neo-Nazis. And the Russian establishment would become even more delusional, believing that they’re unstoppable, proving that high risk strategies work and that the West was depraved and weak. Remember these aren’t barefoot Yemeni tribes that can be subjected to ā€œworld policingā€ these people still have operational nukes. And you’d basically tell them that aggressive belligerency pays off.

In the fever pitch run up to the invasion of Ukraine, they pretty much laid out their plans - ā€œRussian borders never endā€. They actually believed MAGAs and FOX that the US Army now consists of fat, gender fluid liberal arts majors and that they could be cowed into submission by nuclear sabre rattling and bizarre demands and outlandish threats (ironically, the strategy worked on Silicon Valley VCs)

This is a government billboard in Russia. It translates into ā€œAlaska is oursā€, per state media the penultimate on the list of Russian ancestral lands to be ā€œrecoveredā€ after Ukraine.
