I would be careful to not say that I think the Ukrainians are winning. They are definitely losing. It’s just that the Russians are losing, too. It will be hard to for either to claim any sort of victory.
Maybe, but I think they can both claim victory by convincing the U.S. to give Ukraine eleventy-trillion dollars worth of military equipment and then reuniting under whatever banner they want.

True, but the Ukrainian’s resistance forces also need food, ammo, and fuel in order to fight. This is the essence of blitzkrieg, controlling territory is not as important as cutting supply lines.
