I used to read his posts with interest. Now I realize his “expert” perspective is often derived from social media, of dubious origin, regurgitated. Sad.
And how much of the argument is based on partisanship? Reagan, a god to Republicans, supplied Afghanis with arms, invaded Granada based on a lie, meddled in the politics of other nations to influence election outcomes, sent Marines to Beirut and let’s not forget Iran-Contra.
Biden gets us out of Afghanistan and the right criticizes that decision, even though Trump set the withdrawal in motion.
Republicans can say we shouldn’t be helping Ukraine but do we really believe had they been in power they wouldn’t have done the same thing? They can say we should be helping Americans first, and that is true however, let’s be honest, they wouldn’t take that money and use it to help Americans. This is the party fighting against student loan forgiveness.
The truth is, if helping Ukraine benefits arms manufacturers, Republicans will be for it. It’s easy for them to argue against it now because it won’t change anything.
Because journalists are trained to be activists who are not supposed to be objective.
One of the most disingenous posts you’ve ever made. Shame.
Trump didn’t negotiate the withdrawal?
Hello? Us propaganda led fools in here are saying that exact thing.
I’m not playing your game. You know what my point is.
None of it is based on politics. I don’t care who is in office or controls the senate.
Afghanistan withdrawal is a tough one as I think that was short sighted after we went in post 9/11. Not sure.
Being the worlds police force is something that no one should be for.
I hear a lot of Biden and other Dems treating it like a money grab. They’re all profiting. And when you have so called news outlets pushing narratives along party lines, how are we supposed to make informed decisions?
Of course the withdrawal was a shit show, but that was probably inevitable.
I don’t think we really behave that way. We “police” when it suits our interests not out of benevolence.
The Cabal that tricked C student at Yale GWB into starting the Iraq invasion was (is) the most powerful in the world. And probably still controlling the world. My cospiracy theory contribution.
I cited Iraq, an obviously Republican led effort. Happy?
That IS my point. Knowing who made the post, and who was speaking in the video, multiple dudes Still chimed in in agreement!
I hate to think it boils down to greed, but you’re more right than wrong here I believe.
Imho, you can’t generalize by citing the 20% (or less), no matter how loud or raging they are.
I mention the Great Barrington Declaration/Covid often. Because lunatics signed on to it, self interested critics pointed that out as a way to discredit the relevancy and validity of it.
^^ And I repeat what i said about how good propaganda works.
It is a Russian propaganda, because it was spread in my country as well. My country is the biggest producer in Europe of Soviet weapons munitions. We were initially selling munitions to Ukraine in secret. In fact since 2016 we had several munition depos blown by FSB operatives.
Zelinsky had to come this year and we had to elect a new pro western government in order to start suppliying Ukraine for free with munitions and immediately the Russian propaganda hit us. Puppet parties and our puppet president were activated and they started spreading how they are for peace and negotiations. How we are been involved in a war. How our soldiers were going to be send to the frontlines next. Even last week the farmers were pushed to a protest as soon as we allowed Ukrainian grain supply. Oligarhs serving Russian interest organized the farmer protest.
It is absolutely the same talking points everywhere. In Germany and Poland it is the same. In US it is not unique. Absolutely the same.
This is not an international conflict to stay out of. It is on the soil of your biggest ally, Europe. And against you biggest enemy, Russia. Its not some pointless war you guys would like to start. It is a pointless war Russia started.
Not the biggest threat to the US at the moment. That would be China.
That the US does not need to be involved in.
Your biases are very much clouding your judgement and reasoning here. It is possible to feel horribly for the people of Ukraine and hold the view that the billions spent should have been spent here first. Especially since we have many children who don’t have enough food or shelter.
The China threath will only grow and they will attack Taiwan if Russia is allowed to do whatever they want.
Didnt know ammunitions and Bradleys can feed children in US
They obviously cant.
The billions spent and more being spent soon (as indicated by articles above) can.
What about the billions earned from Poland and milions earned?
