Russian Military Buildup Outside Ukraine

This is Europe, not Asia. Ukraine will be included in NATO and EU and will be rebuilded as agriculture and energy economy with a strong army guarding Europe from Russia.

No, you are some irrelevant non-American prick who would never say the shit you do online in person to anyone.

You can call it demagogic, but it is true. Spending our money to ā€œhelpā€ everyone outside the US does nothing but line the pockets of politician, their friends, and special interests. None of this is about helping Ukraine or stopping Russia. It is about money and always has been.

I don’t care if we spent all of that money on the homeless in the US and it made even the most negligible difference. That is better than sending OUR tax money to the Ukraine or anywhere else to fuel corruption and fleece the tax payer and put us further in debt.

Fuck the Ukraine. Fuck Russia. I don’t give a fuck about any other country until the US balances its budget and takes care of its own.

I haven’t seen anyone excusing that other than maybe that one guy.

All of that is horrible, but it isn’t our problem. Keep US tax payer money out if it. The US is rotting from within while we stretch ourselves thin and fleece our middle class so the politicians and super rich can get richer and push us further into debt.

Fight your own battles and finance it yourself.

I hope you’re right and I’m wrong. But the people running US foreign policy now produce such consistently terrible outcomes that you have to conclude that they are not just incompetent, but also evil.

And before someone chimes in about me being Pro-Putin, Grow the fuck up. Putin being evil, doesn’t preclude the US State department from also being evil.

Defensive advantage is real. The Taliban would be much less capable of invading Russia than the reverse.

Well, not that it matters but you’d be wrong there, because I stand behind my words both behind the keyboard and in real life.

But I appreciate the spectacle of an angry, grown ass and supposedly very successful man talking tough to a stranger on the internet.

Your argument is illogical and demagogic and the tough guy act is masking the moving of the goalposts in the discussion. Now, how will 40 billion worth of mothballed weapons and ammo help homeless meth users in San Francisco?

Back at you.

I appreciate the spectacle of a know it all arrogant prick thinking the US owes the world and should play captain save a hoe.

And I also appreciate your questioning my success, we can gladly measure and compare that if you’d like.

You seem to care so much about the Ukraine. What are you doing to help them besides post on a bodybuilding website and expecting others to care and support them?

Oh it’s far more than that and you know it. At least be honest.

There is no point in either of discussing this any further. But, keep on thinking the rest of the world is entitled to US help and money. It goes a long way in helping the elites get richer.

It makes me richer too with the stocks I have, but I still think it is wrong.

The basic idea is that focusing on our own prosperity and security results in far fewer people becoming homeless meth users.

People are a lot less likely to adopt a lifestyle of desperation and addiction when life is good.

Theoretically we could. I don’t think that would be as one sided as you think.

Putting 20+ years of my civil engineering career experience, my personal time on the ground - as well as that of my employees - to help protect civilians and infrastructure from debris of notoriously inaccurate Soviet-era missiles that Russians are launching at Kyiv every other day.

Ah, angrily ranting about perceived injustices on a bodybuilding forum, but when it comes to actual money then suddenly we’re more…flexible?

I never thought it would be. Again you assume.

Yes, I’m not stupid and I’m a realist. I can disagree with something while taking advantage of it.

Also see tax codes.

Commendable. I’ll always give credit where it’s due.

But, that still isn’t the US’ problem or issue.

So you think Russia has free and fair elections? (Don’t feel you need to answer this question. It’s rhetorical and I don’t expect a useful answer from you).

A very on-brand answer. Doesn’t really address the issue. Deflects to something else. Also, laughably and ridiculously untrue.

I don’t see helping Ukraine as being any different than stepping in if I saw someone abusing a woman or kid. Sure, maybe it isn’t my business, but it’s the right thing to do. And maybe there will be consequences for me, but it is still the right thing to do.

I don’t.

It’s like stepping in to save somebody else’s kids when yours are drowning and giving those kids money when your kids don’t have a house or food and you are bankrupt in the trillions.

You do understand that no one is advocating invading Russia, right? But helping see them punished for invading a country and committing war crimes is definitely a good thing. Russia could pull out of Ukraine tomorrow and Russians would stop being killed.

ā€œRace specific bio weaponsā€. Oh lord.
How many Russians did NATO members kill in Ukraine before Russia invade? How many after?

They’ve always been free to pack up and leave for Russia if they wanted to.
